We had a lovely stay at this guesthouse. The staff and management were super accommodating considering I had my toddler and nanny in tow for the weekend. I also wanted to pay for an extra breakfast for my toddler and they refused - even though she was given her own plate of eggs and toast so I was so appreciative of this gesture. There is also a lovely garden with swings for kids which is one of the reasons I picked this spot. My only negative was the noise of the huge coal trucks on the road - they are very noisy, but we were given rooms towards the back of the property as far from the road as possible and again I was grateful for this meaningful gesture given I was travelling with a small child.

We had reason o stop over for a night in Ermelo and chose the Bo-Kamer Guesthouse. The receptionist was charming and welcomed us. The room was fine but it was on the north side of the property which bounders on a busy road. All night we had heavy traffic too keep us awake so if you chose to stay in this establishment ask for a room on the south side of the main house.

The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. I booked a normal room and when we arrived with a child, they upgraded us to a family room with no additional cost. Emerlo can be very cold even in summer but the staff ensured that were warm. I would definitely come back to this place again as my pit stop for my next road trip.

Bo Kamer is a neat guest house. the staff is hospitable and the room service is great. the environment is tidy and well catered for. There is an automatic generator on the premises in case of power failures. the guest house uses Gas Geysers in case of power failures. The most important is the breakfast. I enjoyed the breakfast served, you will have the kind of a balanced breakfast you only eat once in a while. The variety served for breakfast will make you want to come again. you will find a great place to stay while you are in Ermelo. In my opinion you should stay at Bo Kamer everytime you visit Ermelo.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Adequate and comfortable room, however could not sleep, the facility is located right on the main road, all the trucks are utilizing this road so the road noise are very disturbing right through the night. The curtains are not block out therefore it feel's as if you are sleeping in a fully lit room.
The facility is not conducive for the purpose.

We stayed overnight at Bo Kamer guesthouse while travelling between Mpumalanga and KZN. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Its a family run business, they clearly take great pride in their establishment, and it shows in every detail. Their guests guide folder, and all notices in the room were clearly written, informative and easy to understand. One thing, the website shows this room with a hot tub, but this description must be out of date as there isn't one, and if you stay on the street side of the house, traffic noise can be quite loud, but this is no fault of the guest house and reduces a bit at night. Friendly, kind and helpful hosts and a very clean and comfortable place to stay. I would recommend it.

This is a real friendly guest house which has great rooms and a good atmosphere. The rooms are really clean and well maintained. The only disappointment was that breakfast was not included in the tariff and I only realized it the day before our arrival. Paying R1300 pn for two sharing without including breakfast was quit a disappointment.

Our stay was very pleasurable and the hosts were always willing to help. Even allowing us to use their indoor braai area when it was raining outside. While being at a client in Ermelo, getting back to your clean and comfortable room was always a delight.

Very lovely guesthouse. We would recommend anybody to come and stay here. The host was very friendly and we can not complain about anything. Very neat and private and the garden and landscape is so beautiful. If you are ever in Ermelo Bo Kamer is the place to stay.
