Wild At Tuli Safaris is not a package operation; it is an independent, highly specialised, owner-run safari business. Experience, exclusivity and flexibility are hallmarks of our safaris. We can show you the uniqueness of the Tuli Block if you are looking to relax in a charming lodge, be fully catered for and taken on stunning game drives with our Professional Guide. We are based on a 9,000 hectare Reserve called Limpopo River Lodge in Central Tuli Block and our accommodation is in Chalets and Rondavels , a Rustic Bush Camp or Camp Sites, all overlooking the Limpopo river . There is electricity in the Lodge and you can choose to Self-Cater or be Fully Catered for. PLEASE NOTE: we previously operated from another location and some of the guest photos you may see here show tents and a swing bridge - we are NOT located there any more. We have been unable to remove these photos via Tripadvisor so please get hold of us should you want more pictures of our current facilities.

I've been lucky enough to spend many months being "Wild at Tuli", but recently I had the opportunity to take my parents, UK, and my girlfriend, SA, for a lovely long weekend. As ever, Helena, Judi and the team were incredible hosts. And, after my countless stories, my parents finally got to meet their favourite characters, the elephants! However, they were rather well behaved this time around. If you're looking for an authentic experience in the African bush, look no further. Rich with wildlife, food and entertaining stories, Wild at Tuli really does have it all. On top of everything, it's great value for money. My top tips - Get out of bed early (before 6am) - Have a sundowner, quietly, at one of the viewing hides. - Take a torch, unlike my mum.

It is very refreshing to know that there are still places left that are wild and relatively untouched, where wildlife can do what's it is simply intended to do without the interference of human "management". The Tuli area is not only stunning scenery but provides sanctuary for some of Africa's most iconic and beautiful animals. The setting of Island camp on the banks of the Limpopo river provides the perfect setting to wake up in the morning and enjoy an evening around a fire. Not to mention the hide facilities where watching wildlife as the sun went down was a personal highlight. Facilities are first class bush facilities, what more could anyone want than hot showers, safari tents with hotel standard furnishing and full kitchen facilities. I personally chose to be non

Coming from the lush coastal forests of KZN, it was a mindblowing experience visiting Tuli. It is an 'other worldly' experience, with the gorgeous giant baobabs, reddish sandstone koppies, and amazing wildlife flooding the eyes with beauty. Our wildlife sightings blew us away, from an amazing hour and a half with a gorgeous young female leopard, to brown hyena, gentle giants roaming the lanscape, and birds of prey all over. The accommodation was also fantastic, set amongst the beautiful riverine forest of the 'great green grey greasy Limpopo', and the night times by the fire were more than magic! We were treated well by our hosts and are already planning how we can get back there! Thanks Judi and Helena!! Hope to see you soon....

i recommend this camp as an awesome Botswana experience-easily accessible and no hardships (other than an open toilet in the rain so take a brolly) whilst still experiencing scenery and game as in the heart of Botswana. the island camp is wonderful overlooking the banks of the great grey-green greasy Limpopo; the staff extremely friendly and helpful in a well-managed enterprise with emphasis on conservation and protection of wildlife; the catering brilliant if you go for full board: selfcatering facilities very nice if you choose to do that. we had amazing sightings and a wonderful trip. Highly recommended
