The White Hart Hotel

Traveller (27)
Room & Suite (13)

Situated on the threshold of the Cotswolds, the Saxon Town of Cricklade provides a tranquil and picturesque setting for rest and relaxation. For visitors seeking an alternative to the bland uniformity of many a modern town centre hotel, The White Hart offers an appealing individuality - open fires, beamed ceilings and stone flagged floors set the scene for a relaxing experience. Dating from the 17th century, the White Hart has proven to be a popular retreat for those appreciating good food, fine wine, real ales and comfortable cottage-style accommodation. On arrival, why not sample some of the real ales or fine wines available in the comfort of our warm and friendly bar and lounge? For a tasty snack or full meal, we provide a wide range of excellent traditional and modern dishes

Come and visit Cricklade’s lovely bar and hotel. We had a warm greeting from Sam the landlady of this family run bar, resturant and hotel. This very tidy and vintage styled venue with 14 room hotel to boot serves excellent cooked on premises food from raw ingredients. Large

Lovely place to stay, very friendly. Super breakfasts. Just the place to start a walk on the Thames Path. Nice bar and restruant downstairs. Right in middle of traditional cotswold town. Good mixture of Victorian hotel with modern conveniences.

A lovely warm hotel, very pleasant atmosphere with a lovely local community feel. Excellent fagots and burger meals which is what we had for our lunch. Would recommend. Good well cooked food and not at all expensive for the excellent portions.

We stayed at The White Hart Hotel for a couple of nights in The Stratton Suite. Our room was on the first floor (no lift) It was a very large room with a huge bed, which unfortunately for us two wasn’t that comfortable as we like a firm mattress and this was soft. The bathroom

Is fthere free car parking at or near hotel
As a long term resident I agree with Mike we have no parking charges in Cricklade. The White Hart has its own albeit small car park to the rear. There is on street free parking in the High Street to the front and a public car park across the road behind Tesco. Further away is the Town Hall car park on the High Street and lastly the Rugby Club free car park at the bottom of Calcutt St. Enjoy your visit.
