The Red Tudor was used as a Training Course venue where the trainees stayed at the B&B and ate there. Accommodation was excellent and the service very good. The food served was also to a high standard and management ensured that everything was to our liking.
Overall a very good experience which we will repeat shortly.

Not only are the owners so caring and helpful, the staff are exactly the same. I have travelled all over the world and have never quite received this kind of service, where nothing is a hassle for them, even concerning non guest house related issues. Will never stay at another BB in Durban again.

The service was excellent. The owners really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The staff is friend, sufficient and the unit was in great condition. The place is so clean and the breakfast was to die for. We are so happy and will definitely be back again. We visited the Red Tudor for a little break away for my wife's birthday and I must say she was treated with such care. It is rare to find places like this so we highly recommend them.

Convenient location. Lovely views. Staff were amazing. Comfortable and spacious accommodation.
Loved the swimming pool and Spa. The Red Room was the best. Also loved the room with the spacious wooden deck upstairs. Great cooked breakfast!

this review has been a long time coming,

stayed at the red tudor back in May, and have been putting off the review for some time,.

i wont drag on for to long, we chose to stay at this B&B for its location, it is close to major attractions like the shopping mall and not far from sporting stadiums.

it was excellent!
it felt like being part of a family even if we only stayed for the night.
the hotel is located just off one of the main roads but once you have entered the grounds you wouldn't have known.

the owners where extremely friendly and were a pleasure to be around.
the breakfast was beyond 5 start expectations and put the cherry on top so to speak for us.

living abroad when i return home again and need to go to Durban for any reason this would be my preferred location

I would say it is one of the best B&B i have ever stayed in. We booked it trough phone call and came at the same day.
Hotel is closed to Big City Mall (5 minutes drive) (Pavilion i think).
The Manager (and she is an owner as well) were great and super lovely person.
We stayed in Honey Moon Room on the second floor it is gives you an amazing view of Durban.
Breakfast was simply Amazing! (cooked again by owner!)
Only only thing about the room we stayed in is the bathroom does not have a door! It was pretty weird for us even we are married for couple of years :)

Lovely surprise to find this well appointed B&B well situated in busy Westville. Clean, modern rooms with a hint of luxury, and a wonderful panoramic view of Durban and faraway sea. Bonus is the outstanding Thai Spa on the property. I had an exceptional massage by a well trained therapist on arrival in the evening. Spa open until 8.30PM. Friendly owner and excellent manager at Red Tudor. Satisfying breakfast. Great value. Convenient to highway and Pavilion shopping centre.

"We had a look at different rooms. Al looked really lovely. We stayed at the Fire room at the first floor. From there you have a great view at the garden, Durban and the ocean. Furthermore, the room had a bath, which was really nice after a long day."
