This integrated ski Hotel/ Onsen has quietly beavered away doing all those things for guests on a ski holiday in Hokkaido that most take for granted. Whilst newer hotels have sprung up around it, it has been steadfast in its unique approach to guests and how well do they do it.

This is a great ski in ski out resort. Onsen is very clean & perfect after a day of skiing. Room is very clean, the housekeeping people are the most courteous we keep passing them by in the hallway during the day (the japanese housekeeping people only) the westerners just keeps

Dear chasingsunset_168, Thank you very much for staying with us this winter. I am very glad to know you enjoyed your ski holiday with us. At the same time, I apologise that one of the front desk staff was not able to provide our usual level of service and care. I will stress to the team the importance of clear communications and taking responsibility to ensure we follow through with all requests. I will also pick up a few medical cold packs to give out upon request. I hope your husband is feeling better and we look forward to welcoming you back. Kind Regards, Michiko Tamoto Hotel Manager Ki Niseko

Was quite worried about the room size when we first booked the hotel room, as reviews were saying that it was very small. We were really surprised that our stay turned out lovely! We could open up 2 huge luggages in the room quite easily, with some hopping around. There was a

Hi, may I enquire if the sofa in the living area is a sofa bed? Thanks
No sofa bed. We booked the 2-bedroom apartment with extra bed. A tatami was given but was not used. 3 of us shared the king size bed, can still sleep on the sofa if you wish but less comfy as compared to their beds.

Last year I went there in the beginninf of April and the snow was okay in the morning but not great afterwards. Also there is supposedly no night ski. The bed is pretty nice (for me). Don’t expect a lot about the snow is my advice. T

Hi TravelingPolarBear There is an incline before it flattens so you will not be able to “ski out” to the lifts but I guess if you wanted to “ski in”, you could. Most guests walked. The issue is that to access the ski lift, you had to cross to the other side, ie you had to walk along the pole lines and u-turn back. I snowboarded so snowboarding back was not really an option given the flat section. Having said that, it is a stone’s throw away. There is also a gondola next to the hotel. It is slightly further. Same issue. Short answer, I think you will find it is easier to walk back. It will take you less than a minute. The ski lift and gondola are close but the path is not designed to literally ski in and out! Hope that answers your question.
