The staff are so friendly and helpful.
Cezar was so attentive in the restaurant and couldn't do enough for us.The menu was in Spanish so he got plenty of practice with his English explaining the menu to us so patiently.
Room was lovely and spotless.
Maria on front desk also very helpful.
Pool temperature was perfect and plenty of beds.
We are 2 couples on holiday together and they gave us an adjoining balcony which was a lovely touch.
Beach was close ,sandy, and a lifeguard in attendance.
Seriously good menu each evening and a varied breakfast.
In fact we are still there for 4 more days but felt the need to post a review already as so pleased with everything.
Well done everyone at the HotelJardin de Bellver

We stayed in this hotel in May22 and it was great. We reserved our room for our trip down in August (as it was perfect for our dogs) when we left. How things change!
We were given the wrong room which did not have outside access, we were shown another room but it had 3 beds in so I had to crawl into my bed. During the wait for the room to be cleaned we asked for 2 small draft lagers. These were not available! We then ordered bottled beers, these arrived zero alcohol! And so it went on. Dinner was not available, then we had a reservation at 8.00, we arrived to find we had to wait until 9.00. The fish course was warmed up crab sticks and the main was undercooked chicken leg with no sauce or flavour. It was truly awful.
In the morning breakfast was really good but then there was confusion with the bill which was partly my fault as they didn’t know if we had paid for dinner even though it was inedible. So I asked for a bill to be emailed and I would settle it. We had 3 amounts taken from our bank which were incorrect and a large overpayment. Many emails followed, in capitals from reception!! In the end they admitted by phone they had charged for the dogs and drinks twice but we never received an written apology or a full breakdown of their charges. The final insult was no reply to an email I sent asking it I had left a dress there. A grim and expensive experience.

A comedy of errors. Booked 2 connecting double rooms so our young children could have their own room. This was not available at checkin, with the staff unable to think of a solution which was not evicting another hotel resident from a room. We waited to be checked in, with our toddler unable to take a nap, to finally be given a double room with no connecting room as a connecting room could not be found. So be it, we can live with this, if it wasn’t for the appalling service we received during our wait. We were provided brunch menus at 1, ordered at 1.30, and then told the kitchen didn’t open until 2, some of our meals arrived at 3.30, some did not! During this time we could see numerous other diners enjoying lunch clearly from a different menu, when the kitchen was allegedly closed. Honestly a mediocre hotel, made truly ghastly by its stunning incompetence. Would make for an amusing TV show, but not so much a fun weekend away with friends and small kids.

We booked in to stay only for one night but fell in love with the place so we extended our visit. The staff were very friendly and accommodating! The hotel is a lovely and quiet place to relax and unwind especially by the poolside.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a week for the Bennicasim festival. The hotel is very modern and very clean. And only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The bar staff were excellent and made a great Mojito. Our room 316 was very clean with a balcony and a good view. The language barrier with some of the staff was a bit of an issue but that was a minor thing. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk into Bennicasim town, but be warned it is at least an hours walk to get to the festival site.

We stayed here during the Benicassim festival, so it was full of nocturnal revellers and that was fine. (A few running up and down the corridors shouting at 5am, but they were locked out).
It was spotlessly clean, good pool area, pretty well enough sun loungers to go around, near the beach. The drinks were reasonably priced and the service was good.
The roof was supposed to have a jacuzzi and a bar but nil.
However, room 324 was shocking. Tiny, no balcony, totally overlooked by everyone else's balcony so we couldn't even open the curtains! We asked to move but nothing came of it. The hotel was booked and paid for 8 months ago - not good enough. So, all in all, OK. Hope this room is converted into a storage cupboard for the future.

When you arrive in Benicasim (Castellón, Spain), you realize that it is a very special corner. Quiet, kind, peaceful. There are other hotels in the area, but in my view this is one of the best in this area. It is very close to the beach, walking distance to the village, sorounded by a "green way" to walk, footing, relax... in short: The Place. The rooms are spacious enough, modern and well equiped. The staff are highly professional, kind and focused on your care. They will always find the way for you to feel "the guest"... Irina, Sabina, Ainoha, Marivi, amongst the others are outstanding!.
You will be offered with restaurant menu, different every day, a chill out ambience close to the swimming pool, and a terrace to grap up something a long the day.
When you stay in Kalma Jardín de Bellver Hotel you know that you are at the right place. Enjoy!

Although it is not on a beach, I loved the location because it allows you to walk within minutes to more than one and you are close to the "via verde" (green way) if you want to stroll by foot with a nice scenery and the hotel offers a bike renting service.
Moreover, the hotel is brand new with a nice and modern design and a decent pool.
Regarding the pool remember to take your wallet with you (I never do it when I go to the pool of my own hotel) because they require a deposit CASH and they won't allow to put it on your room (no flexibility at all)
Reserved Parking for a fee is available on the premises and a public FOC lot is located on the other side if the street but there is no guarantee of available slots.
Now, my review has a business angle for those of you who might be interested, while I might have very well been the only businessman on site since this hotel is chosen mainly by families and groups on vacation.
Some rooms have a balcony and mine did not, WA extremely small and there is a desk but almost impossible to use due to space constraint so you will have to go for the public areas. Wifi is free and available throughout the hotel
The shower is nice but there is no hook on the wall to hang the shower head
The bed is comfortable although if you are pushing 6' height, your feet will hang off it.
Also i did not appreciate the single double length pillow because I am used to pile up two separate pillows and here I could not do it.
The AC operates only when your room key is in the proper slot in the room so it won't be working during the day when you are not at the hotel (if you leave it in the slot the made will disconnect it anyway)
I found that very annoying because I was finding an oven instead of a room at night but I must admit that first of all the system is able to cool down the temp in such a small room quite quickly.
If you are in the need to quickly press a shirt you will be supplied an iron but not an iron board despite the low cost at which they are available so you will have to press on the small desk
I liked the breakfast (that does not start until 0800 am) for the choice available and the quality of the food.
Besides the one who handled the pool towel "issue" all the staff was kind and attentive
All in all a good choice

Do you have to pay for the transfer shuttle? How much is a return? Is it far from Benicassim? Thanks
Answer from Marina K

Hello, May we ask you to please specify the details about the shuttle? From where do you need it and when? In case you need to reserve a shuttle just for you, yes it is going to be charged separately. Regarding the distance from Benicassim, it is 5 minutes walk from Benicassim beach and about 10 Euros from train station by taxi. Best regards, Administration team
