Great value for money. The Mountain View House has two bedrooms that can comfortably sleep 4 people each. There's a small kitchen with stove and refrigerator and cooking/dining utensils.
While bedding and toilet paper are provided, towels, soap and other toiletries are not. Bring your own.
The beach is a two minute walk away. It's a large stretch of fine sand, with clean water.
The sea turtle (pawikan) conservation center is less than a kilometer away, accessible directly from the beach or via the road.
I'd recommend this place.

We stayed in the main house of La Playa at the Strand overnight. It was a mini reunion with family and relatives in the province as well as birthday celebrations of my hubby and kid.
The overnight rate of the main house was worth it considering the facilities and service. We had the whole house to ourselves including a small swimming pool in front. The beach front view was great. The rooms were spacious enough and there were a lot of other spaces in the house for families to enjoy like the TV room, billiards room, kitchen, etc. The whole place was clean and comfortable.
The caretakers were accommodating and nice. The third party caterer were also nice and food were very good and affordable.
Overall, we had a great time. Everyone enjoyed. The place was great to create good memories with loved ones.

We were scheduled to release pawikans at the Pawikan Conservation Center. I booked a room at the Montemar Beach Club with the help of a friend since it was a membership club. The night before our trip, the beach club let us know that they will be refunding me as they received the names of the people joining me on the trip, and they saw that my husband is Korean. Apparently, they don’t allow that in the club. I was very disappointed but I had no choice. A friend suggested La Playa but there were no reviews in TripAdvisor. I booked it anyway as the kids were already excited to go to the beach. It was surprisingly just a few meters away from the Pawikan Conservation Center. And surprisingly very new and clean. I booked the Mountain View room, which is the most affordable. We were only 4 adults and 2 kids. And the place would allow more people. We had our own kitchen, they don’t provide any meals. We had to helpers with us and the wet market was very near so that was not a hassle. We also had our own small pool. Will surely be back.

Clean, homey, and spacious place for midsize to big families to stay over. Friendly and hospitable staff. My only negative observation is the beach: I don’t know if we just came at the wrong time (there was a storm that we didn’t expect through much of our stay), but the entire beach was filled with all sorts of garbage (bottles, dirty diapers, plastic trash, etc.)! Beach clean up started after the storm, but I doubt that they’ll clean the entire stretch (multiple resorts and vacant lots shared the same beach coast), which I guess has been like that ever since. Overall, our stay has been pleasant. If you’re in for a good indoor space primarily to bond with family and friends, with a small private pool, this is a good option. But don’t expect a clean beach, with white and pristine sand like that of Palawan or Boracay.
