The lodge and all cottages offered superb accomodation with exquisite views over the dam. There were activities for the old and young adults and the boating fishing and horse riding were taken advatage of. There are some maintenance issues that require attention.

Is there wifi and if not what is cellphone coverage like?
Hi There I do have Wi-Fi at my Lakeside units and at my boathouse/breakfast area and obviously at my reception. We have Vodacom and Cell C coverage normally (I have boosters at the boathouse and reception) but MTN is limited. Sorry for getting back to you so late, not sure how I missed this question? Regards Gareth

Hi Tshegisi I thought this question had been answered sorry :( We normally get snow between May and September, if you time it with a cold front you should be lucky. The main 4x4 route would be up the Sani Pass and yes a passport is required....but it is definitely worth it. If we don't have snow there will almost definitely be snow there. Regards Gareth

Do you have any wheelchair accessible units?
Dear Nicholas I do not have units that are graded wheel chair friendly, however our Earl Mist units have only one small step at the main door, with the rest of the unit having no stairs, the shower has no door and is fairly large. Hope this helps Regards Gareth
