Having had amazing day trips to this location we decided to stay here for a friend’s wedding in the area. Hoping for a sleep in, we were woken up to a very noisy reception area - it felt like we were sleeping in the reception! at 6am! forced to get up, we had breakfast - asking for well done eggs, we were given raw poached eggs coupled with cold coffee, which overall made our stay unpleasant and we won’t go back.
Thank you for having us! After a meal there last year on a birding trip to the Himeville area, it was your table that sold the room, not the other way round. And the room was excellent. Quiet, warm, and luxurious. We were delighted by the 270deg views to the magnificent gardens and mountains, and also loved the breadth and mix of books for us to read. Oh - and the dinner and breakfast were both great.
We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean, warm and welcoming. The hotel catered to our needs.Loved the smart TV, still enjoyed catching up on our favorites TV shows away from home . The food was tasty! We are definitely coming back.
This is my 2nd visit to Moorcroft Manor. It’s just a lovely spot and perfect to stay at before a morning drive up Sani. The rooms are lovely and it’s so peaceful you are guaranteed a great nights sleep. The best thing though is the restaurant with great food and the best Irish Coffee I have ever enjoyed.
A memorable weekend indeed,…..’a first of a kind, and a definite return next year’,……with wonderful weather & great company in a ‘brutal race’ over the rolling hills of the Midlands in KZN, completed and finished off with a lovely stay at Moorcroft Manor Boutique Country Hotel!
