My husband and I recently stayed here for 2 nights while travelling around South Africa. We wanted to stay here as a base for travelling to Sani Pass and it was perfectly located for that. Our room was fantastic - loads of room and beautiful and clean. The staff were super friend

They advertise free WiFi but this is only accessed from near the breakfast room. This is poor especially when cellphone reception isn’t the greatest.

The coffee isn’t restocked in the room.

The room wasn’t made up completely daily

Hi Thanks for your feedback, we take this type of feedback very seriously. Karmichael Farm has a country accommodation offering and is owner managed and run. On this particular weekend we experienced and very un expected death in the family and had to travel to Durban for a few days. We are comfortable leaving our very capable 4 ladies to run the guest house while we are away. We take full responsibility for all guests complaints and certainly do not use us not being there an excuse. We pride ourselves on offering a great relaxing stay for every guest we host. We do offer free wifi but this is only in Reception and the Shed lounge and bar. We don't advertise it as 'In room wifi' Unfortunately we have no control over the cell phone signal in the area. We certainly always re stock tea and coffee everyday for our guests - in this instance if it was not done then again we take responsibility and it was addressed with our staff. As we are a country guest house and B&B we don't have TV in rooms and don't advertise as such either. With regards to breakfast not being open at 7 we again take responsibility, this I believe is the first time this has happened with us being away and maybe a mis- communication with our kitchen staff on opening time. We normally communicate with all our guests at to what time they would like breakfast and we prepare accordingly. Once again thanks you for your feedback, we have addressed all your concerns with management and staff involved. If you are ever in the area again we would like to offer you a complimentary stay and will make sure you have an excellent experience at Karmichael Farm. Kind Regards Karmichael Farm

Our family stayed at Karmichael Farm for two nights. Wish we had more time to experience more in the area. The stars at night where SPECTACULAR!!! The snow topped Sani Pass and Lesotho mountains was a special treat. Can’t wait to go again!

Hi Dave Glad you enjoyed your stay here. Were lucky to catch the snow and must say days were nice and clear and the starlit evenings are amazing with no light pollution here. We look forward to seeing you again. Kind Regards Kevin

Hi Ashleigh I have written to you on many occasions via TripAdvisor to get details of when you stayed and who's name you booked under. This in an effort to get to the bottom of your wild allegations. We do not have you on record. You have not bothered to respond. Often the sign of cowardliness. Clearly you are on a mission to discredit us. If that is your intention so be it. Please also check your spelling before heading off on a rampage like this in future.

The view from our patio at KarMichael Farm!
Hi, I am traveling down to Umgazi with my 12 year old son and I need a very warm cozy room with free WiFi & Dstv & restaurant on site. This would be for the night of 19/08?
Maybe try Moorcroft Manor across the road from us.
