2021 Travellers' Choice Best of the Best
360 degrees is defined as ‘a full rotation absolute circumference, all encompassing, total and complete transformation.’ Ojochal’s brand-new luxury resort Hotel Three Sixty is appropriately named in many ways. Three Sixty describes views and also embraces the architecture, landscaping, cuisine, pool and every other aspect of the hotel. This serves to create an all involving unforgettable experience. Built on a 58 acre reserve of primary forest, the construction takes up less than 8% of the total land mass. At an altitude of almost 1000 feet, the views of the jungle, pristine beaches, palm covered islands and the endless ocean are overwhelming. The 200 kilometer expanse also encompasses coastal panoramas from Manuel Antonio to the Osa Peninsula, the migratory route of the Humpback Whales. From this elevation, the daytime temperatures are noticeably cooler and an ocean breeze is soothing.

This was our second visit to Hotel Three-Sixty, we spent our honeymoon here in 2019 and was very impressed by the exceptional service, the views it has to offer and the food and drinks at the hotel restaurant. We especially enjoyed that it’s so high up in the hills that each room stands above the tree canopy with a view of the Pacific Ocean from the balcony. On this trip the wildlife viewing just from our balcony was pretty amazing. On the tree right off our balcony we were visited by toucans, capuchin monkeys, and had the view of at least 20 green parakeets flying back and forth amongst the tree canopy. They have an amazing massage room located on the opposite end of the hotel that is surrounded by lush greenery that you get to enjoy during your massage. The staff was very accommodating in making any arrangement needed from excursions to transportation. This is definitely our go-to place whenever we are in the area and when we want to be pampered. Just note a 4x4 is needed to make it up the steep roads, it’s a little daunting at first but after driving on this during rainy season it wasn’t so bad after all. Definitely give this place a try.

Hotel's Favourite
My husband and I just enjoyed one of the best weeks we’ve ever had while on vacation at the truly stunning Hotel Three Sixty in Costa Rica; so much so in fact, that 3 days into our trip my husband booked us a return visit for this December! Intimate in size (just 12 villas) and adults only, it is the place to go if you’re looking to completely unwind while being surrounded in incomparable beauty, enjoy fine dining at surprisingly reasonable prices, and sleep in luxury accommodations that have stunning views from each room (ours, #3, overlooked the jungle). From the moment we arrived we were treated with such courtesy and kindness by the entire staff we never once felt anything less than genuine delight by them that we were visiting ‘their‘ gorgeous hotel. We got to know some of the staff quite well and I miss them all terribly. The ever cheerful Jose and Ronald, in management, were never too busy to stop and chat for a bit making us feel very much like friends and not just guests of the hotel; darling Erika always had my tea and my husband’s coffee ready as soon as she saw us arrive for breakfast; Annit took exceptional care of us at dinner (her hugs are the BEST); and Laura saw to it that our villa was always spotless. The villas are so private and the guests so few in number it’s easy to feel you are staying at your own private resort. That’s not to say, however, that it isn’t easy to strike up conversations with other guests during meals or while ‘hanging out’ poolside. You’ll have cicadas to serenade you, birds and monkeys to watch play in the trees (the Toucans are gorgeous), food to delight you, sunrises to greet you and sunsets to say goodnight. I promise, you will LOVE it!

I started following Three Sixty on Facebook long before I made it there. Such a beautiful and unique combination of mountains, beaches and jungle. To finally be there was an amazing experience. It was so surprising to finally reach the hotel...it's truly a hidden treasure. The views are even more breathtaking than I had imagined. The pool and restaurant overlook the mountains and Pacific, and the food is amazing! I had a wonderful experience at Three Sixty. The hotel is immaculate, and every staff member I encountered was delightful and eager to help. Thank you! Will recommend to my friends!

We spent 3 nights at 360 Hotels, an absolutely magical place with a 360 view of the canopy and the sea. The rooms nestled in the forest benefit from a bay window totally immersive, very nice furniture and high quality service. We loved the place. The staff is very considerate and helpful. A perfect stay.

After 4 years visited again this beautiful Hotel. And if 4 years ago I was amazed about this property, its beauty and perfect attention. Then now 4 years later its 100% better! You can feel it just breading the air over there. Guest attention, service, Food, villa setting. Incredible!

Probably the most sincere compliment a guest can pay is a return visit. Thank you, we look forward to seeing you again (hopeful sooner than four years 🙂). Pura vida.
