I have only great things to say about Il Sorriso B&B. To begin, it's hostess Arianna is a wonderful & kind young woman who was generous & welcoming from our first exchanges by email. Our trip to Larino was a journey to my mother's birthplace, visiting the place where our stories began. And, Il Sorriso's comfortable, clean & ever so beautiful accommodations were more than I had ever dreamed, The view onto the countryside out back, the tranquility of it's location in the historic centro storico Larino, the kindness and genuine pride of the locals made this trip a trip we will never forget. Arianna had the kitchen filled with delicious dolci and beverages to quench our thirst and the beds fresh with crisp linen. The well equiped quaint kitchen made for delicious meal preparation and lovely dinners with my children. I highly recommend this lovely and perfect B&B to anyone wanting to explore the beauty of new and old Larino, as well as the neighboring towns of Termoli and Vasto, to name a few. Arianna, sieti fantastico, grazie mille per tutto, ti mando un grande abbraccio, e vedremo presto a Larino , senza dubbio xoxox…
A superbly large and beautiful house! Warm and cozy with everything a person could want. Coffee, juice, food, a great heat system, etc. All a person could want at a great price! Plus Arianna steered me to a restaurant where I got possibly the best dinner I have EVER had in my life! It quite truly brought tears to my eyes! I would stay there again and next time I go to that part of Italy, I plan to stay there!
We stayed here and took the whole house for a family of four - even though just two of us were able to make it. The house is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious. Arianna made us feel very welcome right from the start, greeting us with home-made baking and cool drinks after a long hot journey. You're right in the old town centre - and a very pleasant surprise the old town is. Again, Arianna helped us for dinner by suggesting and reserving at a great nearby restaurant. I definitely recommend this place and will certainly try to return to this under-visited part of Italy.
This bed and breakfast is centrally located in the old part of town. It is a very large and spacious two story renovated house. The house has a large kitchen and living room that are very well decorated. Very large master bedroom with a view of the street and adjacent bathroom. This is a great place to stay and relax while enjoying the local scenery with is very comparable to the Tuscan area in beauty.
Once I had found il sorriso in the warren of tiny alleyways of this bewitching old town I also found a warm welcome from host Arianna. The charming old apartment was beautifully renovated with everything supplied for a relaxing stay. Gazing out over the peaceful scenery you can't help feeling you are in an extraordinary place. This is small beauty at it's best. With local bars just up the way and supermarkets a short drive away it can be the right place to enjoy some peace and quiet in a busy Italian tour. Town and B&B both highly recommended.
