My wife and I know the owners of La Testuggine well. They are exceptional in the way they run their bed and breakfast. I assure you it will not disappoint. Located in the heart of the medieval centre of Larino, it is a short walk from the Cathedral (1312) and the lovely, narrow streets of this remarkable community. While my wife and I own property in the Town we regularly advise guests and friends to consider La Testuggine. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well maintained, and offer all of the conveniences a sophisticated traveler would expect. IIf you plan to visit the largely unknown Molise region, this would be an excellent point from which to venture out to all of the lovely little towns in the area (Morrone, Montorio, Cascalenda, Provvidente, and others). My wife and I do not recommend places without consideration. We promise you, you will be delighted with your stay at La Testuggine.…
This was the last of 3 places I stayed at during by 15 days in Larino. I stayed here after the San Pardo festival (it was sold out during the festival) and I was so pleased with the fact that everything in my room was brand new and very clean. I stayed in the hotel-style room and not the apartment-style room since I was traveling alone and did not require a kitchenette. I did get a visit to the apartment units and they looked awesome with kitchen and all! My room had a queen bed (more on the firm side but I like that!) night stand, wardrobe and 4 piece bathroom. Typical European style windows that open up and allow you to partially walk out. The hosts were awesome and kept the room clean with daily housekeeping service. Breakfast was available at the pastry store/bar across the street. It was delicious! Note that it wasn't typical Western breakfast... it was more like a continental style (fresh pastries, coffee, juice etc...). I would have loved to have WiFi access... but that did not bother me at all. Overall a great place to stay. If you are there for any festival THIS is the place to stay if you want to remain in the heart of the action!…
