This is the second time I was lucky to be invited to spend the night at the guesthouse and it was another unforgettable experience. On Friday afternoon we had sun downers on the terrasse with stunning views over the whole bay. Later we had dinner and the owner Alex prepared the most amazing meal - absolutely delicious. My room was beautiful too. So tastefully furnished and spacious. The pool has the coolest pool cushion to float and there are comfortable loungers to relax and enjoy the views. Breakfast was another unforgettable experience. The selection was ample. Alex made the most amazing scrambled eggs and Melani a delicious bread. So if you want to have an unforgettable and relaxing day or weekend away, Alex and Melani will make it happen. Thank you so very much for an amazing time.

From the property you look down towards Gordon's Bay with the sea as your background. Behind you the mountains tower above you, a South African panoramic outlook. The rooms are large and well appointed.A very comfortable bed awaits. Our only negative was the hot water that never got really hot. A breakfast that is of the highest order, homemade breads & jams. Superb! Your hosts are friendly and accommodating, a really great place to spend a weekend.

Dear Menno. Thank you for your kind and constructive review of our Peaceful Hideaway. We always appreciate feedback and have been able to find a solution for the challenges of load-shedding combined with technical challenges of those two days and hot water is once again fully restored to luxury levels ....we trust you can come and try it yourself in the future :). We wish you great success with all your future endeavours . Warm regards.

The day starts with an excellent, "personalised" breakfast, the big and nice garden invites you to walk around. Melanie and Alex are very helpful to organise your golf journeys and give very good advices for restaurants.
