This Guesthouse has three double rooms, three family rooms and two penthouse suites. Incredible sea and mountain views from the balcony of every room. Walking distance to all beaches and restaurants and the quaint village of Gordons Bay. The rooms are very well appointed and large. Such tasteful decor and a real home feel. Owned and run by Kerry, the breakfasts are superb and should you require anything at all, Kerry will get this for you

Berg en Zee in Gordon's Bay is a Guesthouse that exudes warmth, hospitality and comfort. Under new ownership, Kerry and her staff welcomed me, made me feel as if I were part of a family for the time I was there, and shared her knowledge of the area, day trips to do, if I wanted any meals in the evening and the breakfasts are legendary. Right in the middle of the best the Cape has to offer, a short trip from the airport, quick trip in to Cape Town and the Wine lands close by, it is the ideal place to begin the day and to return to. Especially when travelling alone, this is the place to create your base - you are in the best of hands and I so appreciate all the time and effort made. Nothing was too much to help me, from in-house travel to information about what was on offer in the area. The rooms are spacious, the views are lovely. A beach close by, shopping too. Happy to return over and over again.

Just the most beautiful place to stay , cant be more than 200m from the beach....this is the place to stay. The owner and staff are like family and offer great advice on what to do and where to go and even have a privately run driver to take you around , all the boxes were ticked.

We (family party of four) stayed two weeks at Berg en Zee. We enjoyed every day. Fantastic rooms, fantastic breakfast personally served by friendly staff, fantastic view, fantastic restaurants and beaches close by as well as fantastic service. We got help with all kinds of things from getting Christmas food/arrangements, golf clubs, help with excursions etc. Two weeks in the hotel and not one day were we disappointed with the hotel or service. View from breakfast room. Thanx Jackie & staff!

This place is an absolute gem in Gordon’s Bay, centrally located outside of Cape Town, close to the winelands. The architecture and decor is beautiful and the hospitality was truly amazing. We arrived outside of check in time and were greeted by an informative and cheery lady. Our breakfast was top notch! Would highly recommend Berg en Zee Guest House.
