We stayed for 2 nights for work in the region. They offer a 5-10% covid discount which is a lot less than most places in Namibia at the moment, but take it or leave it I guess. This is one of the more upmarket places in Omaruru town and that shows in the price. The rooms are however big and spotless. Very good beds and surroundings. Good wifi. The food is excellent in its class. But.. Annoying was the miscommunication on the phone about the price of the family room before arrival. Although some staff is good, others need service and language training as they are just not ready to communicate with guests and also don't try. I am leaning towards 3.5 stars which is not an option and the constant miscommunication with some staff, sulky faces, breakfast being late despite us being the almost only guests (paying good money in a downtime) would make 4 stars a stretch. The potential is there though! Definitely give it a try.…
The location is very good. Employees are friendly, and they are willing to extra mile. Sara was very good We are trying to use Kashana Guesthouse once we have a trip to Omaruru In general all meet the standard
The location is perfect to overnight en route to the northern part of Namibia especially as you travel to Etosha. Also close to Erindi. Situated in Omaruru and about 20km from Omaruru Game Lodge where you will find rhinos. The service and reception was great. The freestanding rooms are beautifully decorated and I just love the layout. Thatched roofs and rooms surrounded by trees and plants. Careful with the mosquitoes but the lodge made provision for repellent in the rooms. Definitely recommend Kashana for a two day rest stop.
We spend one night at Kashana. The rooms are well appointed with aircon. Bedding needs update. Poor lighting in bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. A little expensive for what you get. NAD1300 per room. WIFI did not work in room.
The place is next to the Omaruru River and offers nice rooms. It has a la carte menu with good food and a bar service from morning to night to enjoy under the big trees in the large courtyard. Service is friendly and good. The pool is a refreshment when it's warm.
