First, location and sight are absolutely great, you can see the fishing boats from your room because the resort is up a hill above the sea, you have free generous breakfast. You can have a drink or have meal looking at the sea. Abuesi is a charming and very lively fishing port with nice people even if you can guess, life is not easy.
There may be minor problems for the room like the lock of the doors but this is easy to fix and the owner and manager is absolutely charming and very caring. He has great projects and truly wants you to feel happy. We had great moments in this place full of assets.

EXOTIC HONEYMOON IN TAKORADI Abuesi Beach Resort is right by a small bay a ocean. It really feels like being into a tiny tropical paradise. As a matter of fact we relaxed as soon as we entered the grounds and seen the rooms and sorroundings. First of all we loved that the place was private and quiet with not many people there giving us the just the kind of atmosphere we wanted for our honeymoon. The staff was incredible friendly. Edem, the managress was helpful and Melody was everywhere. Their honeymoon surprise break-fast in bed was amazing. The 99 steps to the beach was incredibly. They are making face-lift at the beach bar and after finish should be ++ I recommend any one who really want peaceful and exotic honeymoon to visit Abuesi Beach Resort

The quiet ambience of the place is so nice and gives the needed peace for reflection and relaxation. Waking up everyday to the quite sound of the beautiful atlantic ocean is a must have experience. The Manager and his staff are so helpful and ready to offer a helping hand whenever needed not to talk of the delicious meals prepared. I will come again and highly recommend Abuesi Beach Resort to any Traveller to Takoradi and its environs

I had an amazing time at Abuesi Beach Resort , the most fascinating thing is the the lightning towards the entrance at night , this is made of plastics inaugurated by the owner of the place Mr. Samuel Sawyer a very amazing host. Amazing right?

The monkeys are a sight to behold, how they come out to play is worth seeing. I enjoyed this resort so much so that, I invited my fiancé over to have an amazing time, and it has been one of our favourite memories ever.

Another experience that was worth it was the walk way from the mountain where the hotel rooms are to the bar and restaurant close to the sea down the valley ,another is the sea view. Oh my! So calm the waves and most importantly how clean the beach is. Last but not the least the PlayBoy Island 🏝️ which you need to cruise on the boat to get to , the night parties, bomb fire, tents on the beach etc

With this being said, I’ll highly recommend Abuesi resort to everyone, single, friends, couples, it is an environment for everyone, who wants to get away to a peaceful and serene environment. So therapeutic. Try it and thank me later 👌🏽

The resort is at a beautiful location, just above the fishing harbor. Service was excellent, and the food was good. Breakfast was served on time and the facility was clean and pleasant. I just missed the monkeys who came to play on the premises on the morning I left. Mr. Samuel gave me a personal tour of the dungeons (commonly called a castle) located nearby. Great hot water and water pressure! Upcoming renovations will make this location a hidden treasure in the area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful view from the room terrace. The housing is located on a hill covered in various decorative trees and bushes. Sometimes you can see the monkeys sleeping on the tree nearby and watch them jump around. Many funny animals running around such as geckos, goats and birds. The beach pier is beautiful. Great restaurant and authentic home made food. We were treated with a lot of respect and care. I can recommend this place if you want to relax and run away from a stressful lifestyle.

Needed a place to relax to transact a business in Takoradi. The owner and staff were very nice. The food was good and the room was very very neat decorated with African art. Above all I was totally immersed with the beauty of the beach. The place is located on a hill top overlooking the sea Will visit again. Andrews Boadi

I paid for a taxi. You could take public transport (tro-tro or bus) to the community near the resort and then take taxi from there, but this is a bit complicated. You could also contact the resort itself and see if they will arrange transportation for you at some fixed cost.
