The most charming hosts. We were greeted with a bowl of fresh strawberries. The dinner and breakfast was exceptional. Beautiful location and pool. The room and bathroom is fine. There were lovely sitting spaces and even a hammock between the olive trees.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay at Panacea B&B. If you are around the area, do not miss this jewel. Let me say my group of friends and I, are still raving about this place. First, the B&B is beautiful, you feel 100% in nature. They have beautiful flowers, olive trees and fruit plants all over the property. Pool is perfect for those who want to relax, or to be used after coming back from beach. The most beautiful beach is about 8 minutes driving from the property, you certainly need to go there. If you like jammed packed beaches, this is not that type of beach. Breakfast is delicious, large assortment of homemade cakes, fruits, omelet, cheese, ham, yogurt, coffee, etc. You will never be hungry there. Dinners (for a fee) are superb, total culinary experience of real Mediterranean Italian cuisine. Their selection of local wine is very good. You will get spoiled there by the time you leave. NOTE: they grow their one fruit and vegetables, so everything taste even better. We made the mistake one night of not having dinner there and we regretted immensely, to say the least. Don’t be fooled by other places, this is the holy grail of B&B- truly the Panacea that cures everything.πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‹πŸ˜πŸ˜˜ Thank you to our gracious hosts for making our reunion, such a wonderful & memorable experience! We would absolutely stay there again.

Just spent 3 nights here and it was just lovely! Alberto and his Mum were charming and really looked after us and whilst their English is as limited as our Italian we all got on really well and they made us feel so welcome and at home. The rooms are relatively basic but very clean and all have a sunny terrace outside with washing and drying facilities. The pool is great with plenty of sunbeds and olive trees to provided much needed shade The breakfast was the highlight of our stay here with great fruit, bread, hams, cheese, egg based savouries and the freshest and nicest cakes of all our time in Puglia. They actively encourage you to take food and fruit from the breakfast buffet away for your lunch and even provide tin foil and bags. We ate dinner there one evening and it was lovely and food was homemade and rustic and at 20 euros including wine and some pretty strong digestifs (firewater!) extremely good value. There is also a good trattoria within walking distance and its well worth going up to the village for pre dinner aperitifs at the Bar Garden near the church - a little pub where locals sit outside in the square playing cards and gossip, kids play and the owners keep bringing you out endless plates of tapas at no extra cost! A great spot for visiting Salento and local villages and beaches on both coasts at the tip of the heel of Italy - you really feel you get to experience the real Italy in this charming area

I have been at Panacea in August 2015 and in August 2016 and the experience has been stunningly beautiful both times. You get a cozy, clean, comfortable room, access to the pool, a strategic place to visit all Salento away from the crowd, outstanding home-made breakfast, take away lunch, even dinner on request, plus a very kind and friendly service, all at a very reasonable price. Absolutely recommended!!

A family run business on an old olive grove with about 8 studios. They have just finished a huge investment which apart from the usual painting now offers a brand new quality swimming pool. This is a gated compound so everything is quite secure it is an excellent base to explore further locations.
