My recent stay at the Elysium resort and spa in Greece has simply been one of my finest hotel experiences globally. The luxurious hotel is nestled in the natural splendors of Greece.

From the very moment my family and I stepped through its welcoming doors, we were warmly greeted by the devoted reception staff whose attention to detail was second to none. Panagiotis was very welcoming and kindly arranged for our luggage to be taken to our room. They were well-organised, and there was no waiting around.

We stayed in an exquisitely charming adjoining rooms, sophisticated and modern appeal that has all the amenities. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. Picture-perfect views from our balcony were nothing short of a dreamscape, as we had the pristine Mediterranean sea by day and a blanket of twinkling stars by night.

The dining experience at the hotel was phenomenal. The hotel's restaurant provided an abundance of delectable Greek cuisine and international dishes. Every meal became a culinary adventure with fresh local ingredients that surprised our taste buds in the best possible way. Marilena was an amazing waitress/host. Everyday we were greeted by her wonderful smile and her attentiveness to making sure we had everything we need! Marilena really did make us feel really welcome, comfortable and really made our stay memorable. On the occasions she was unable or busy Savvas stepped in and gave us equally the same level of service.

The location couldn't have been more perfect. It was conveniently located near old town yet seemed miles away from the hustle and bustle. A delightful blend of serene tranquility and pulsating excitement.

The pool had a lovely bar located in the centre. I have 4 kids and each one have their own demands and needs. Having a bar that serves food and drinks poolside is every parents dream. No-one had to go anywhere, so no children having melt downs made the holiday even more pleasant and worry-free. The comfortable sun loungers were all fitted out with service buttons connected to the outdoor bar. Daniel, works in bar and he was supper attentive and looked after us all everyday. He always gave me a Pina Colada with a smile, no matter how hot it was. He always made the extra effort to remember the little fussy things my kids always asked for.

At the end of the day we would head down to the bar which is located at end of the hotel by the beach, where they would play live music/entertainment every night. The whole family looked forward to each and every night and throughly enjoyed the music. There was another lady that served us in the bar, looks a bit like Tailor Swift, who was sweet and always checked in on us.

Our stay at the Eysium resort and spa was nothing short of a Grecian dream. We left the hotel rejuvenated, carrying vivid memories of an awe-inspiring sanctuary, and most importantly with a promise to return. If you are planning a trip to Greece and looking for an unforgettable hotel experience wrapped in luxury, and friendly faces the I highly recommend elysium resort and spa.

May your journey be as enchanting as ours was.

The staff at reception and in the foyer we’re very helpful. Staff in the Emerald restaurant were fantastic. We stayed on a half board basis and only ate in the Emerald restaurant, there was a good variety of food and plenty of it. I’m a strict vegetarian and was perfectly well catered for. The location was ideal there is a good local bus service with bus stops right outside the door. It’s easy to get into Rhodes town or Faleriki the buses are comfortable and air conditioned. The hotel has its own beach which although pebbly is easily accessible. All rooms appear to have a sea view balcony although the ground floor rooms had a limited view. Car hire is available at the hotel and we hired a car at short notice, it was easy to arrange and driving round the island was no problem. The room was a standard hotel room with a beautiful sea view and balcony furniture. We booked a twin room which was not set up as such when we arrived but they quickly sorted this out and let us arrange the furniture as it suited us best. The only disadvantage was the sound of the traffic, I had read about this in other reviews but optimistically thought that was only a few rooms but it actually effects all the standard rooms. It’s a shame as it could be prevented by adding a sound proof door to the porch. It didn’t bother us but I can imagine it would some people. This is the only reason it didn’t get a 5 star rating. Covid precautions were very good with disposable masks and hand sanitizer readily available. I would stay at this hotel again.

Just finished a week at this superb hotel and what can I day only Wow ! Arrived at the hotel and we were met with a complimentary glass of prosecco which is a lovely touch . You can check in to hotel online to save time via the Hotel App .
We were shown to our room which was a deluxe room and was spacious and Airy .
We arrived about 9.30pm and we decided to get a quick bite to eat in the Hotel bar and we had the enormous Club Sandwich and a Pizza which were both excellent.
We got to see the hotel in all its glory the next morning and arrived down to Breakfast which is Buffet style . You can have indoor or outdoor breakfast , but be aware that you may have to wait a few minutes for outdoor breakfast as it's very popular and really is worth it .
A wide variety of food is available at breakfast from sausage to back bacon, waffles , youghurt, fruit , crepes !! You name it they have it !
We decided to have a look around the pool area and beach and both are absolutely stunning ! The pool is big and lovely to dip in and out of and there are plenty of sun loungers available so you will never be stuck . Towels are complimentary and replacement towels are available all day . The pool bar in the middle is lovely to get in out of the hot sun for a drink or for some food and snacks , but don't forget that lounger service is available from the App mentioned earlier and is a nice little perk .
The beach itself is full of sun loungers and again it's never an issue to get one but one thing I will say is the beach is mainly pebble and stone , so bring a pair of water shoes .
The highlight for us was the beach bar , which is located and the top left hand side of the beach . It serves food and drink and has a really chilled vibe to it . We had the Meza plate twice and it's a lovely dish for two people although the burger is delicious as are the Taco Gyros. One tip we have is to sit under the trees during the hot part of the day and if it's after 4pm the couches out the front offer simply stunning views .
We had a slight issue with our room which was no fault of the hotel and we were moved to another room very quickly and efficiently.
We had just settled in to the new room when we got a knock on the door and one of the concierge had brought us a bottle of prosecco and a fruit platter as a way of an apology and it was totally unexpected and a really nice touch .
The room we were moved to was a step below what we had , but this was no issue .
You have several options for evening meals , from fine dining on the rooftop terrace to the buffet which is the most popular and will cover all tastes and is included on Half board but not B&B and will be €35 per person , but you will get a nice main course and we had Rib eye steak to Pork medallions and swordfish which were all excellent
We took a day trip into Rhodes and the bus stop is right outside the hotel and it's €2.40 per person for the 20 minute journey. We did the hop on hop off bus tour which is €12 and takes about an hour.

Arrived on 25 Aug the briefing we received about the hotel was inadequate. nothing other than restaurants. spa and other places where we could spend are money seemed to be the main area of the briefing. Where are room was not briefed, relying on the person transporting our luggage to show us the way. Of course, nothing was said about where other areas were in relationship to our room. We were left to find out by ourselves. Your bathtubs are way too high to accommodate your guests especially the elderly it was very difficult getting in and out. Rooms were kept clean, but we had to call too often asking for supplies. There is absolutely no paper information in your rooms, this would really assist those that are not able to work the APS contained on the TV. Now let's switch to the pool and the pool Bar - Things I have problem with is ordering from your beach chair and being asked to scribble your name without being able to see you bill or what they have charged you. We have tip charges from the pool Bar and from items brought to our beach chair that we did not see or authorize. We did not notice this until getting home. We did not have the time at checkout to go over the bill that closely. Also, we ordered French fries in the pool Bar and were charged 50 euro cents for a very little jar of ketchup after being asked if we wanted ketchup and never told it cost extra. Now for the pool itself - It needs a good cleaning to remove the scum from the sides. The operation time is very short, 1000 to 1800. The pool has nothing for children and only two types of fountains which our turned on and off about every 20 minutes and when asked why we never did get an answer other then it stops at 1500 which was completely wrong since they never came on after 1430. Why are they not able to be on for the full time that the pool is open? On 1 September men were not authorized to wear shorts and many were turned away to go back to their rooms and put on long pants. Not sure but it seems the Hotel should have notified its guest ahead of time of this major change. Also, the Emerald restaurant was advertise as opening at 1900 again the opening time changed on 1 or 2 September with no notification to the guests. Needles to say we did not enjoy our 2 week stay in your hotel and it looks like all the reasons point toward management caring more about the hotel instead of satisfying their guests.

Wonderful quiet holiday at this resort, we really enjoyed our time staying here. It was just perfect for us. First of all, what we enjoyed the most was their food and friendly staffs & service. Food quality is 5 star as expected! Menu we could choose for main dish was really good everyday as well as buffet you can choose your starter and deserts, lots of choices. (decent amount of choices for vegans & vegetarians as well)
Needless to say but cleanness of the facility and beach & pool area was top! Cleaning ladies kept our room super clean, made us feel very comfortable. Our jacuzzi in the room was not working so called for the technician, they came right away and fixed it for us and they even arranged for cleaning ladies to come in afterwards to clean up the mess they made. Only thing bothered us was door & closet doors close very loudly and you can hear bang noises from neighbor rooms. And check out time is 11:00, you can extend (late check out) until 13:00 without any charge, after that 80euro charge will be applied.

Excellent two week stay for a wedding. Hotel facilities excellent and in current climate, covid secure precautions first rate with sanitiser stations throughout hotel and disposable gloves and masks freely available for use at buffet and elsewhere. Food quality excellent and in particular lunch at the hotels 'Fresh' restaurant is of a standard which would match a Michelin rated restaurant. Service in the restaurants is particularly friendly yet retains a professional quality. Would happily visit again.

This is a great hotel with real five star service and facilities. We stayed for almost three weeks and stayed in on of the elite rooms. The elite service is really worth the extra money if you can. There is a wonderful separate breakfast on the terrace and lots of other perks. Beds are really good and the hotel is spotless. Furniture is a little tired here and there but all in all still resists well.
The ladies in the elite lounge (Maria and Dominika) are absolutely splendid and helped us with all sorts of arrangements. Our cleaning lady Ana was also fantastic.
There is a turn down service, the beach is great and the pool as well. In spite of the size this hotel never feels crowded and there is always space on the loungers.
Entertainement is very low key and tasteful.
Restaurants are average nothing exceptional but the buffet is better than most you will encounter in hotels.
The hotel is great for all ages and clientele is really mixed between familiies, couples and group of friends.
The location is good for Rhodes. It's a stretch of beach where there are new hotels built tastefully and which leave plenty of space to the sea. The closest place is Faliraki( you need a taxi) which is rather ugly but there are some good eating options.
To go to Rhodes you can take a taxi but the bus is also very convenient.
For me the only thing I would not recommend is the spa which is insanely expensive also for a hotel and where quality is mixed.
No kids club but plenty of kids and the staff is very sweet with all children.
I can only warmly recommend this hotel and hope to visit soon again.

Another superb 2 week vacation, having previously stayed here in 2015 and 2019. We were so pleased to find the continuing and consistent high standards of service we have experienced in the past, as well as the kindness shown to us by all the staff. Just to mention a few: Emma who was extremely helpful with our room reservation, Manolis in the restaurant and George ever present around the hotel, Evgenios/Katrina/ Torolli in the main restaurant and the ‘ Captain’ in the Almyra beach bar. In addition the reception desk arranged for our room to be serviced early on the day of Queen Elizabeth ‘s funeral so we were able to watch undisturbed. This 5 star hotel is everything you would expect and is in a superb location with easy access to Rhodes old town etc by local bus or the boat ferry from the beach. There are a high number of guests who are serial long-term returners which speaks for itsself. Everyone associated with the hotel should rightly feel proud of what they achieve to ensure their guests have a fabulous time.

From the moment we arrived at the Elysium, we were treated like royalty. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were welcomed. We were staying in the Elite Club rooms and got upgraded to a Junior Suite, which was stunning and looked over the spa pool and onto the sea.

The pool and beach areas were great, even though the hotel was full, it did not feel like it was crowded. At breakfast, you had to wear a mask and gloves at the buffet, which I thought was a great idea. The food at the pool bar was amazing, along with the fresh restaurant, and on the first evening we had a welcome dinner at the buffet restaurant.

The one aspect that could've been improved was the variety of snacks and drinks available in the Elite Club Lounge. I have stayed in many hotels where we have been in the lounge and what was offered to us was a lot better than what was on offer here. Despite this, I would say paying for the Elite Club is definitely worth it in terms of where the rooms are situated and all of the other little extras that come with being a part of it.

Overall we had an incredible stay, the hotel is perfect if you are going as a couple or as a family, we will definitely be back to visit again!

Just came back from the most relaxing and perfect holiday. The hotel has everything you can dream of, the level of cleanliness, attention to detail and a wide variety of food options is amazing. The location is lovely (close to the airport, bus stop to take you to Rhodes town just outside the main entrance), beach and pool area absolutely spotless. They seem to be endlessly cleaning all the areas making you feel very safe. The biggest asset is the staff though- everyone we met was so professional and yet so very relaxed and friendly- especially the restaurant staff (breakfast and dinner service) who seemed to be there all the time and yet had a smile and a warm word for everyone. Really impressed. First holiday in this hotel but most definitely not the last- already looking to book for the next year. Credit to everyone in there, and a massive thank you!
