I stayed in a third floor, two bedroom condo with a private balcony and ocean view at the end of July 2020. The condo was spacious, impeccably clean and beautifully presented (the complementary bottle of wine was appreciated!) The resort is ideally located above Divetech, a local dive operator, and the newly re-opened Vivo, a local vegan restaurant. Whilst I did not visit either, on this occasion, I do highly recommend both. I used the peace and quiet (and stunning views) to undertake some remote voluntary work, requiring a large degree of concentration. It was perfect! As the accommodation is self-catering, I could have friends over in the evening to relax with and to share the peaceful, unspoilt ambience at the resort. I believe the resort is family and pet friendly, too, and the Cobalt Coast is right on your doorstep, offering some of the finest on-island snorkelling and diving (free and scuba). The condos include a lockable dive gear locker on the ground floor and there is a natural sea pool on-site available for use to all residents. It's a great place to practice your free diving, before heading out into the ocean! A big thank you to Nancy for arranging an unforgettable stay!!

Our Lighthouse Point Condo was awesome (we stayed in #1). The living area is lovely and spacious with a nice kitchen, washer/dryer, huge dining table and nice living room/sitting area with a TV. The two bedrooms each had their own bathroom/shower, and there was a huge walk in closet to hang and store additional items. There is a convenient, although a bit pricey restaurant with nice patio seating. The dive resort is excellent. I did my last two open water dives for my certification with Sonya, who was absolutely THE BEST getting me through my fears, and all my required skills. She was an excellent trainer and very calming, which I needed. We did 7 boat dives with the dive shop, and all were excellent. We also did a couple shore dives with easy access via an ocean-pool with a swimming channel out to the ocean. This is a GREAT spot if you want a dive resort, however note that there isn't a pool or beach access here, however there are great beaches very close by.

Room Tip: Unit 1 was very nice, but even better would be a room with a view of the ocean!!

Thank you so much for the lovely review and we certainly appreciate your staying and diving with us. We hope to see you back some day in the future! Just a quick note that the new Residences on the adjoining land are in the final week of completion, and then the fresh water ocean-side infinity pool will be open to guests! Thank you again, Nancy

Lighthouse Point condos are fantastic. Comfortable, clean, and convenient! They are situated with the best dive shop in Grand Cayman, Divetech. We stayed in the ground level Condo 1. It was incredibly convenient for our dive vacation. The condo is well stocked with cooking utensils and cleaning stuff. Nancy and Jay make coming here as easy as being at home with all the conveniences and little details of being home. The dove locker for each condo is great! We will definitely be returning!!

I went to a public beach access point next to the Lighthouse Point Resort. The first issue here is the terrain of the "beach". There is no sand. There is only very rough and sharp rock. You need rugged footwear and steady steps to get to the waters edge. I was wearing sport sandals and handled it OK. I then jumped in the water and switched from the sandals to fins once in the water. I then just swam with the sandals on my hands. They came in handy because there were hundreds of tiny jelly fish in the area. If you swim out a little ways you get to a shelf (wall) that you can swim along and see lots of fish. In general the water is very deep in the area, probably 50 - 60 feet (I'm guessing). So for snorkeling, it seemed too deep for me (not seeing anything up close). Probably a great place to scuba dive. There is a statue in the water and tons of fish. I also saw a passing sea turtle. But for the effort of getting in and out of the water, I'm not sure it was worth it. There is a dock at the resort. So if you snorkel with them, the getting in and out of the water would be much easier. But I was doing it on the cheap.

Good morning Rodney; Thanks for your review, it is appreciated. All guests are welcome to use the dock or sea pool on the property at Lighthouse Point to get into the ocean. You can do a giant stride off the dock, walk down the ladder, or walk down the steps into the natural sea pool, plus have a shower afterwards. So next trip, please feel free to come onto the property to get into the water. Along the iron shore, staying right along shore, you are sure to see all kinds of marine critters, just meander in and out of the cuts slowly. Thanks for coming up our way and please come try agin.... Nancy

We have stayed in condo #7 a number of times. It is absolutely beautiful, well stocked and in a perfect location. We love the tranquil peaceful vibe being five minutes from the more crazy Seven Mile beach. It's extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfy and each bedroom had plenty of storage. The kitchen is completely stocked with nice appliances and about everything you would need to make a meal including a blender for those umbrella drinks. The balcony, overlooking the ocean, is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. We specifically enjoy the shore diving that's right on property. . . nothing better than walking out your back door for a dive every morning. In addition to the dive shop, there is also an excellent restaurant located here - Vivo is vegan, however, they do have lionfish which is delicious. Overall we give it a 10/10. We will definitely be back!
