I'm just back from St-Vincent & the Grenadines where I spent 8 nights at the David's beach hotel together with my daughter. It was a business trip, but it turned to be much more than that...like being at home 7400km away. Thanks the Kenneth and his team, lovely Mary / the chief and all the people at the hotel, we had a feeling of being on holidays. The hotel is simple but well equipped, nothing is missing. The rooms are less than 10m from the umbrellas and the beach, the pergola where we. had breakfast and diner is charming. One day we will come back on holidays with the whole family
If you are looking for a quite boutique hotel, 2 steps away from the beach, this place is for you. Ken is very helpful and accommodating, always happy to please. The staff are very friendly, a special thank you to Petra and Jovan. I recommend this place and I certainly will be back there someday.
We loved, loved our stay at David’s Beach!! Of course the Caribbean never disappoints but when you add a suite just steps from the beach, gracious and friendly staff and a small boutique atmosphere where you get to know other guests and staff, it creates special memories!! And don’t forget Ken…manager/CEO!! He oversees the resort, takes care of everyone’s needs, and helps you familiarize yourself with the island! We loved our mornings and evenings in the open air eating area with the Caribbean breeze, amazing…absolutely amazing food, delightful staff, and fun conversations! The beach is pristine and we found ourselves in the water more than out! David’s Beach is a quick walk from town where there are multiple restaurants and bars! We were totally happy eating at David’s Beach with a midday trip to town or other places. Can’t wait to come back!!…
While swimming at Sparrow’s, we saw this cute hotel next door and decided to check it out. After a tour by the owner, Ken, we decided to skip the ferry back to Bequia and spend the weekend. What a great choice! Walk a few feet from your room into the warm sea. Stunning turquoise water views on a beautiful white powder sand beach. Chef Keith prepared the most delicious upscale local-food meals for us all weekend long. Curry conch, Red snapper with plantains, conch ceviche on a puff pastry, and so much more… all with 5-star presentation too. Yummy and pretty! Wait staff was friendly and helpful too. Rooms are large, have a sitting room, and a balcony. We appreciated the nice robes and turtle towel folded art. Fantastic weekend and hospitality. Highly recommend staying here during your visit to Union Island!…
Kenneth the owner was the greatest helpful guy we ever meet in the Caribbean. We did our quarantine at his place and fell in love with his hotel and the super great service we experienced. Thank you for the best experience we had in the Caribbean.
This Beach hotel is literally paradise on earth. Everything is just so beautiful and it is the most relaxing place I have ever been to. Everyone on this Caribbean Island is so nice - but especially the staff and David make you feel so welcome and will do everything to take care of your wishes and needs. The food is local, healthy and delicious. The rooms are quit, clean and beautiful - with little details of turtles. And the turtels are not far away - a little boat trip to a nearby Island, here you can swim with a lot of turtles. The beach is 20 feet from your hotel door - white and so beautiful. This vacation was the most relaxing and beautiful I have ever had. I must come again!
I traveled to Union Island and David's Beach Hotel for a much needed rest and relaxation vacation. I was excited to experience the daily massages advertised, and the beauty of the island. I arrived to find that the pictures do not do it justice! It was beautiful. The room was lovely, I had a balcony overlooking the ocean. The room was very spacious, had Wi-fi, and air conditioning. The view was worth the trip! I sat and drank coffee overlooking the ocean daily. The all inclusive aspect of this hotel makes you feel like you are truly on vacation. The food was delicious. I have been on cruises and found the food to be top notch, gourmet. Very creative cuisine, including special local treats like Callaloo soup, yum! The staff were very friendly and attentive, the daily massages made me melt. The beach walks, the snorkeling, and access to the kayaks and water sports were super fun. I went on a schooner, the Scharamuch, which was also a highlight. The staff took me snorkeling on their boat, dropped me off on my own beach, and picked me up when I was done! I felt like a true princess. I think the best part of this experience was the personal touch, this is not like your average hotel. Attention to every detail is what I loved about David's Beach hotel, I felt pampered and nurtured. I loved this place! …
Spacious end upstairs apt with sea views all round Well stocked bar David catered to our individual taste in cuisine Beach just in front hotel Tour courtesy hotel Airport pick up and drop off very prompt Great relaxing getaway What massages and charming staff Truly lovely experience
My previous visit to the Grenadines and Union Island was 20 yrs ago. I traveled on a sailboat and could therefore visit every Island from Trinidad Tobago up to Virgin Islands. All islands has its own personality and charm. I especially enjoyed the Grenadines and British Virgin Islands. My hope has since then been that I somehow could bring my own family here and that the Island still had its unique and authentic Caribbean atmosphere. David and his staff delivered a excellent stay. Food was great, service was great, boat rides and local island trips was great. Everything was just great. And the island was just as authentic as I hoped for. The hotel is located right on the beach, all rooms are facing the sea and there is absolutely no need for a pool. Rooms are equipped with AC. This is one of very few hotels i would like to visit again.…
We stayed, with two other friends, at David's Beach Hotel for 8 days and really enjoyed the authentic and colorful location and accommodations. This is a great value if you want to enjoy the Grenadines without the off the chart costs. The cuisine is excellent; we had lobster and the best bananas flambe! We went snorkeling and scuba diving, hiked to the top of Chatham Bay, toured Palm and Petit St. Vincent and enjoyed perfect weather.
