After visiting for one day by water in 1989, we were delighted to have the opportunity to stay here at last. Our two weeks of beach, sailing, snorkeling, swimming, and relaxing was simply marvelous. The atmosphere is laid back, the other guests were pleasant folks, the trips and tours were lots of fun, and the food very good. We are very glad we persisted through 20 months of re-bookings! Tips for the next folks: Bring Insect Repellent and Benadryl Cream for any bites. Don't miss the snorkeling between the dock and the Sunset Restaurant--wow... If you go to Union Island, enjoy Seymore's taxi--he's great!--and don't miss the Post Office. It has a swell 3-D map of the island. Service is relaxed, but who's in a hurry? The library has a great collection of Left Behind Books--beach reads galore. Save your baggage allowance for taking home gifts.

When planning our 10 year Anniversary trip there was only one place in the world we wanted to go - Palm Island Resort in the Grenadines. Unfortunately the pandemic meant that we couldn't go as planned in 2020 but we made it there in Aug 2021 and it was definitely worth the wait! The Island is a very special place for us and this was our 3rd visit (and won't be our last). It's an adventure to get there :-). When we arrived at Barbados airport we found out that we'd be the only guests on the island, the previous guests had let the day we arrived. This was perfect for us and the staff pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a super holiday. The food was amazing (as always), have the coconut special at breakfast, you won't be disappointed. Once at the resort we had 2 days "quarantine" but really it was a couple of days of being waited on and thoroughly looked after! Still having access to the beach in front of our room was fantastic and the superior beachfront room had a lovely view and a very comfortable bed. I'd take quarantine in Palm over being anywhere else!! The staff at the resort are amazing, they are also part of what makes this place so special (thank you all!). We enjoyed exploring the island by bike and foot, and swimming with the turtles. Snorkeling at the reef gave us the opportunity to see the wonderful marine life. Yes, we had to have a few tests to get to the Caribbean (we also stayed in Barbados after our stay on Palm), whilst out there and in order to come home but Palm organised the tests we needed whilst at the resort and it's a small inconvenience for the opportunity to relax in paradise. Although we loved having the resort to ourselves hotels need guests to survive. If you're thinking of going don't hesitate, you won''t be disappointed! Our trip was in Aug/Sept but the weather was fantastic! However, remember, once you go there nowhere else will be quite as amazing....

Dear Valued Guests, It's truly heartwarming to read a review such as this and we can't thank you enough for sharing your experience here. The staff and entire Palm Island Team are so pleased to have guests returning to paradise and are happy to make everyone's holiday a special one. We now have our own PCR testing kit on island which has significantly reduced the quarantine time to assist those who have shorter stays to enjoy the island to its fullest. We hope that you will be coming home someday so you can experience Palm in a new light and have an even better stay than the last. Kind regards, All of Us at Palm Island Resort & Spa

Our trip was everything we had hoped for and so much more! The picture perfect scenery, the amazing staff, the details they put into making everything so picture perfect…from the picnics to the food presentations to the little flowers they place throughout your room. The hospitality started at the airport in Barbados and it never ended. I can’t thank Katie and the staff enough for the lovely time we had on their island to celebrate our anniversary!!

Truly amazing! Katie and her staff is simply magnificent! We spent 10 nights there in October 2021 celebrating our 20th anniversary. There’s lots to do on the island.. riding bikes around the island, ‘hiking’, snorkeling, swimming pool and the beach and water is clean and clear. The masseuse is amazing, we went to her 3 times! Rent hammock #4 for a private beach lunch…Breakfast, lunch, Dinners and drinks are great, you won’t go hungry with lots to choose from! Go swim with the turtles for the afternoon, tons of fun to be had there. We released over 30 baby sea turtles in the ocean one night, that was awesome! I could go on and on about the place. The traveling to get there is a a little crazy, but you won’t want to leave once you get there! I see why there are so many repeat customers, we will be back!

Imagine escaping COVID life after 18 months to arrive in paradise... to find out that because of COVID, your island vacation is basically your private island for a week. If you're worried, don't be. 2 days in "quarantine" = 2 days of forced beachfront relaxation. With rum punch! This was a life-changing experience. The staff was amazing and felt like friends by the time we left. The beauty of the island and surrounding waters is incredible. The accommodations are perfect. And even with reduced capacity, the resort offered everything we needed and more. (Steel drums! Rum tasting! Snorkeling! Hobie Cat!) Thank you to the team. We can't wait to see you again!
