Arrived on a cycling trip. Warmly welcomed into the bar for a well deserved pint. Rooms when we got to them were surprisingly spacious and whilst there was some road noise at night and not able to completely darken we had a decent nights sleep. Adequate shower and C19 precautions appropriate. Dinner in bar was pretty decent and service very good and friendly. Same for breakfast, quite a remote location so limited choice but none the less a decent place to stop.

A great stay in the Invershin Hotel. I had driven past hundreds of times but had never stopped. It’s a perfect wee highland hotel and extremely welcoming. Great cosy bar (wood panelled, fire etc) with very good food. The hotel’s never looked great from the outside but inside it’s really lovely. Definitely now our hotel of choice when we are in the area. Cheryl and family are brilliant hosts and deserve to do well. Def try and stay here if you can.

Was lucky enough to stay at Invershin as part of an organized cycle tour. Such a lovely worm welcome from Cheryl on arrival and throughout the evening in "the bar-that-sucks-you-in-for-another-one"... Good hearty pub-grub & nice breakfast & safe place to stash the bikes ... perfect !

Quite possibly the best bar in the world, the Invershin is my absolute go to whenever I visit the highlands. Cheryl and Angus are the loveliest hosts, warm, friendly and so much fun! Cannot recommend the Invershin more highly!

While working up near Loch Shin I stayed here for 4 nights. As I’m vegan I contacted the hotel in advance to see if they would be able to accommodate. Cheryl got back straight away and said not a problem. When I arrived they were super welcoming and had got in vegan alternatives for me including almond milk, vegan spread, vegan sausages for breakfast. Each night Angus cooked me a great dinner and my colleagues even joined me and had the vegan option each night. Annie and Cheryl made us feel welcome each night and nothing seemed too much! Room was clean and comfortable with a view of the river out front. Hotel is well situated and we even seen an otter while on the bridge outside the hotel. If you are thinking of booking but have dietary restrictions then I’d recommend giving them advance notice due to the remote location but they were great in accommodating me this past week.
