I come to camp here almost every year. This year I threw my back out so I decided to rent a room. The rooms are definitely glamping. They have air conditioning,fridges, big bathrooms and marble tables outside. It's a great room at a wonderful location.

Simos beach is one of the most beautiful in Greece, with crystal clear cyan waters and relatively shallow depths I think that is very attractive especially for young children.
Regarding Simos camping let me split my review into categories:
Accommodation: we have our own tent (for 4 persons) so we got a tent area which was spacious enough. In front of the tent there was an area to park your car so it was helpful that you can use it as storage room and it was not necessary to have all your staff inside or around the tent. On top of every tent location there is a wooden shade which keeps the tent protect from the sun throughout the whole day.
Facilities: showers and toilets were clean and tidy. In the mini market you could find almost anything and the prices I think that was in the local market region, nothing overpriced. The shared kitchen was clean an tidy too. There was plenty room in the fridge to put your staff but to be honest camping was seem to be half –full so I don’t know in peak season if there is going to be an availably issue with room in this facility. We have brought our own food and we were cooking but 2 times we had a meal in the restaurant. Portions were fair and tasty in reasonable prices.
Beach: as I have mentioned in the beginning, beach is extremely beautiful and I don’t think that someone would leave unsatisfied. There are sunbeds that you can rent for the whole day for 10 euros (set of 2 sunbeds with one umbrella). The charge is between 10 a.m. to 6p.m. so early in the morning or late in the afternoon you can use them free of charge. There is also available area where you can set your own umbrella and avoid this cost. You have the option to put an order and bring you on the beach water, coffee, snack, etc. from the restaurant-café but there is a small uplift to the prices comparing to what you were going to pay if you have bought the goods by yourself and took them with you.
Overall we have a lovely time and we can fully recommended the location and the camping for unique summer holidays.

A fully organised and equiped camping for people until 24 years old. I think that anyone older need his tidy room of a hotel for his vacation than his camping tent. However, the camping facilities were more than enough for any camper!

This camp site is a sad piece of paradise. This island has one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece and possibly the world. This island was made to comfort people by offering trees to shade and sand to soften, free camping is a rite to every traveller who goes there. Simos camping ruined this and put an end to this divine purity. On top of the ugliness it offers, the restaurant has bad product, don't waste your money eating there. At night they have a bar playing music with no thought of the environment( vlaho bar) there is no hand soap in the washrooms , apart from them being filthy. The spots are very few that are any good destroying any feeling of the real nature of the island. But apart from that they receive certification from the European establishment. Stay in a room! Don't ruin your experience. This camp site should be closed down. Just another great example of how we are are own worst enemy. Just sad..
