Absolutely amazing place to stay. All was perfect, from our room, sevice, breakfast, price, cleaning. We booked normaly room, but they gave us upgraded room for free. Big place to park your car only 5 m from hotel also for free.
This is a charming hotel with lovely gardens for sitting and relaxing. Breakfast is served in the gardens each morning.
It is located on the edge of Sirince and provides a very easy walk to the town's many shops and cafes. For us, this provided four wonderful evenings.
Our room was very small, but comfortable. No TV and very weak water pressure in the shower. There was no Wi-Fi in our room. If we sat in the garden, Wi-Fi access was spotty. Be forewarned.
So glad I chose staying in Sirince over Selcuk. Sirince is very picturesque- winding stone streets, lovely hillside views, & probably just 20 minutes drive to Ephesus. Selcuk looked like just any town. Anyways, Gullu Konaklari really is special. It's located right at the edge of town, so everything is accessible from the inn. I arranged my tour of Ephesus through the inn. Breakfast was good and it's served where you have sweeping views over the hills. I stayed in a standard room in the gardens building which was in itself fairly ordinary. I would next time spend the money on a nicer room because they're just so beautiful. But the good thing was I didn't see anyone else on my floor which only had 3 rooms, so I had a separate living room & small kitchen to prepare tea all to myself. What a tranquil 3 days!
The hotel was perfect for anyone wanting to stay in town. The room was wonderful. Besides a lovely rose garden, there are numerous other common areas to relax and read, have a glass of local wine or meet others.
Our stay at Gullu Konaklari was absolutely perfect. We rented a car and drove from Izmir; after a few wrong turns and wondering how we could possibly be going the right way, we arrived in Sirince and could not believe how stunningly beautiful it is. The hotel itself is located on the edge of this picturesque tiny village and offers the ideal location for enjoying Sirince (which can get quite overcrowded with tourists during the weekend days) and providing a welcome respite after a long day of sightseeing at Ephesus and the other nearby sites. We spent three nights here and wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the Butterfly Room which is small but adequate given the limited amount of time we spent in the room. The grounds of the property were beautiful and well kept; so many flowers and very peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and served outdoors overlooking the hills; we also had dinner one night and it was excellent as well. In addition to all of this, the staff was beyond accommodating and provided fantastic service without being overbearing. Overall a wonderful stay and we would definitely go back.
