Write a reviewThe location of the hotel is excellent. Rooms are spacious and have all you need. What makes this hotel stand out is the fact that every staff member has a smile on their face. Their enthusiasm and hospitality is what makes this hotel memorable. The bar is a buzzing and bubbling place and busy throughout the day. The restaurant is excellent with a lovely view. We stayed in September when the weather was cooler, but I am not sure what the room temperature would be like in summer without air conditioning.

Stayed as a base for hiking in Picos. Staff helpful and pleasant. Place no frills but clean and comfy. Room overlooks water and having a restaurant downstairs was convenient. Sound travels so noisy neighbour woke us but aside from that was quiet and pleasant ambience .
Would advise they put a shelf or some surface in shower to place soap as no such option other than floor.
Also not enough plugs for charging. None near bed.

What more can be said about impeccable hospitality, amazing food, amazing service, the best location and value for money. Location right in the heart of Potes, free parking in the town, the restaurant and bar in the hotel are the best in the whole town. We visited in the middle of August, peak time and the service was second to none. Our room was lovely, maid service, bottles of water lots of toiletries. The staff worked incredibly hard and we ate and drank in there daily as we were so impressed. Fantastic value for money i would 100% recommend and would love to go back. There was a lovely lounge area to chill out in.

We stayed two nights last week, our third visit to Casa Cato over a decade. Hotel is lovely. Reasonably priced. Excellent restaurant on site. Helpful staff. Despite low price we got a huge room on the top floor, with lovely views and loads of space, include a sitting room. We parked in a free site about two blocks away, so all was easy. And Potes is a super charming town. Do walk the back streets if you go.

Absolutely love this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The room was old fashioned but in a good way, it had beautiful beams. The TV had Netflix and YouTube on it which was a bonus.When we arrived all the restaurants were closed until the evening and the hotel kindly prepared us a meat and cheese platter with bread and olives, it was delicious and just what we needed after travelling. They also had a huge choice of breakfast food, the omelette was delicious. The only downside to our stay was the view as we were facing a rooftop but it didn't matter for one night.
Will definitely be back if we return to the area.
