We had a wonderful stay at Cederkloof. They days we hot but the pool and and Jacuzzi made it comfortable and relaxing. The setting is beautiful. Went with a 4 and 20 month old, who thoroughly enjoyed it.

I brought my family (dog included) for 4 nights to this beautiful and peaceful place - what a treat.

Highlights included a jacuzzi, walks in nature and swimming pool. The fact that I could bring my doggie with was a blessing and was even welcome at the Hebron restaurant.
There is aircon in the cottage with free coffee beans, rooibos tea and a bag of wood. And the jacuzzi !!

Yvette was very helpful and she even makes herbal products which are amazing.

Only negative thing are the flies and ticks present in the area but otherwise a perfect holiday for the family.

Definitely the best holiday I've had.

We enjoyed our stay here a couple of years ago and again Cederkloof did not disappoint. We stayed in number 5 which has a reed-filled pond in front filled with many varieties of birds, which we loved as a birding family. Our dogs and kids were able to roam freely around the property while we relaxed on the deck and enjoyed the views without worry. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well-stocked with anything you need. Great braai/fire pit with a grid and a bag of wood provided. Super well-marked hiking trail with great views, a bit technical for our older dog but kids loved the spots with a bit of scrambling over the rocks. Hot tub and swimming pool kept the kids entertained too. Friendly customer service...we'll be back for sure!

Great cottages with private jacuzzi and braai area in a beautiful setting. Surrounded by birds and lovely scents from the many indigenous plants. There is also a nice pool area where there is wifi available. Can get hot in summer.

The house was basic, but oh so beautifully situated. We spend an entire day lounging on the veranda overlooking the garden and the valley, whilst our kids soaked in the jacuzzi. The birds and night sky are fantastic. The houses have all the necessities and we liked the small adds like fresh coffee beans and the convenient barbecue pit. We didn't miss a thing. Hosts were very welcoming and the communal pool and area is nice as well. Do note that there aren't many restaurant options in the vicinity, so stock up.
