We stayed at La Lechare for 2 nights in January 2019 whilst visiting Kruger. Our tour group of 14 were given a wonderful welcome by the charming owners Jan and Isabella and the evening meals cooked by Jan were superb. We were in Room 8 which was clean and very spacious and the total experience could not be faulted. Highly recommended.

We received great service from this guesthouse; right from booking to departure. It is clean; tastefully decorated and comfortable. Each room has a small fridge; en suite bathroom; coffee station; television with selected DSTV channels; free WiFi; small veranda and a HEAVENLY bed!

If you have more items to be frozen than will fit in your room fridge; they will freeze it for you in the main kitchen; if you do not plan on leaving too early in the morning when moving to your following destination. When leaving early; they will provide a packed breakfast the night before.

We used this guesthouse as an overnight stop into Kruger; but would be a great base from where you can explore a large area of the Park. We will definitely make use of this guesthouse again!

This is one of the best places we stayed at and the host could not do more for us. The room, pool and food were perfect and I could not fault them at all. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Support this wonderful hotel.

We found this place to be charming - exceptionally clean and pleasing to the eye with friendly new owner Isabel and her wonderful manager Tracey to ensure we were comfortable, well informed about the area and well fed with a fantastic breakfast and setting. The rooms were set up with four post beds with mosquito nets - very romantic look when you you first enter the room and the bed was very comfortable with lovely signature linen. Wi-fi was good and the dinner recommendation surpassed our expectations. We stayed as two travelling couples and would highly recommend the place to prepare for our trip to the Kruger Park. Thank you for adding another great memory to our South Africa trip bank!
