We spent two nights in this hotel. The room where we stayed - Mimosa - smells like never been cleaned and never contacted fresh air. The bathroom was clean, but needs an uplifting as well. The big problem is that the walls are so thin, that you can even hear the breathing of your neighbors if there are guests in the other room (not to mention other noises). CHECK if there are guests next to your room and take another one if any, or get prepared for a long night.
The breakfast is very poor, some cakes and yoghurt.

The first time we stayed here two years ago the location and price were the main reasons we chose this hotel. Because we had such a good experience, we again stayed here the end of May. We were with another couple who had never been to Rome and who were leaving from the airport at the end of the stay. The location is great for taking the train into the city, as well as being close to Fiumicino Airport. Breakfast is included in the room rate. The room was clean and had almost everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and the scent of the blooming Jasmine was wonderful. This will continue to be our choice of lodging when we are in the Rome area.
The information in the room stated that the facility was not responsible for anything left in the room and that a safe was provided. However, in both our room and the room of our friends, the safes were not operative. Because we were traveling into Rome and wanted to leave both money and documents in the room, we had to rely on the honesty of the cleaning staff. Fortunately there was no problem. This is something that needs to be fixed by the management.
There is free WiFi, but only in the office, dining room, and in the seating right outside that building. I needed to make a very important phone call using WiFi, but there was an event going on, and the event manager told us it was not possible to use any of that area to make a call, which basically meant we couldn't make the call. As paying guests, we were a bit upset with him, as his attitude was not very customer friendly.

Stayed in a family room, spacious, peaceful, great place to stay, especially with young children, quiet, safe, lovely gardens, romantic buildings. Friendly, pleasant, serviable team of staff, welcoming and thoughtful. We used a chauffer service to get to and from Rome, was well worth having that bit of distance and a break from the city after visiting all day.
