All said before here is definitely true! Charming, knowledgeable, hard-working, most helpful hostess, Ellen-Marie. A delightful location to explore medieval Besalu’ and scores of other scenic towns to choose from. Room very clean, outdoor bountiful breakfast is an understatement on both accounts: Pyrenees views & food for an army! 3 days was not long enough to explore all I’d like to but we went from volcanic region by Sant Pau still lived-in rustic medieval town to seaside villages including surviving 40 hairpin turns to Cadeques. Drove also through rollling meadows & pastoral cottages without hardly meeting another car. Toured amazing 400 BC large Empuries, a highlight of 3 week trip for my husband with town’s ancient Greco-Roman ruins! Did not use her pool but looked refreshing. Mornings nice but needed sweater & long pants eating outside in cool crisp air!

Hi Carol, Thank you so very much for your review! So glad to hear that you had a good time in Catalonia. The pool is nice indeed but after the summer it can be a bit cold. As long as the weather is still good I prefer to serve breakfast outside because then you can enjoy the views over the area and see the balloons passing by. Hope to see you back one day.
