We stayed for one night in a family room/dorm, with 2 bunks an two single beds. Powersocket and light near the bed, linnen provided. Big closet to put you're bags in. The room was of good size and a ensuite bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. We could leave our bikes in a locked space wich was good. Outside a nice area to sit and relax, or be active, such as pingpong, football, playground and more. Breakfast was plenty and good. Walking distance to the small city centre, around 15 min. The only minor thing is that the door between the hallway to the room upstairs and the dining area is in constant use and so it slams a lot wich I found annoying. Specially at night. But overall I would recommend this place.

Needed a cheap place for a 1 night stay for early morning meeting. Stayokay worked well for me. Rooms are spartan. Please bring own towels, soap as there is none in the room. Loved the location, common areas and the breakfast. Ideal place for family or few nights away with friends.

Stayed here for 3 days for a survival course. The hostel and the Soesterduinen fit the theme well.
The hostel is easy to reach by car and train (900m by foot). Plenty parking space. The reception, the hall and the restaurant are well maintained. There are enough place to sit and relax around the bar.
A lot of trees around the hostel. There is a children's playground with bark ground cover. There is also a open/camp fire which is very cozy in the evening.
The room consists of a toilet, separate shower and 2 loft beds to accommodate 4 people. The lighting in the rooms is a tad low. The linen costs €2 (€3 deposit).
The food is average. Continental breakfast with different choices of ham and cheese, cereals, milk, juices and coffee. Lunch is like breakfast but with a little warm snack and salads. Dinner is better, 2 choices of warm dishes with salads or potato.
For a hostel it is good and clean. Well maintained. A good place to visit the nature.

The room was painted with latex paint.The matraze was coated with some sort of rubber.Therefore sleeping was sweatty.
The shelfs where not clean in the corners.
Almost everything in the hotel was needed extrapay.
The breakfast was ok. But nothing special.
My stay was in the summer of 2015.
