We flew into Nice and wanted a place away from the coast but close enough from the airport (about an hour). After reading other reviews, we settled on this property, In a grove of plane trees, the chateau's interior is cool and welcoming. Lady L is a fine hostess, conversational and informative, and her home is full of character with a collection of antiques and decorative objects from her past profession. We asked for a light dinner on the first night as we decompressed from jet lag, The charcuterie and accompaniments of vegetables, cheeses, bread etc she provided were just right - light, varied and interesting. Our room, superior suite, was roomy and comfortable with a modern well appointed bathroom in two parts - separate shower. Very convenient feature for a couple. We recommend this location and and our hostess and would stay here again.

A lovely chateau just outside Brignoles, this was a real find for us. The room and food (breakfast included; dinner on request - although notice needed) were very good. The interior decoration consisted of one of the largest range of seemingly random collectible objets I'd seen, and well worth a peak as you pass through the halls. Our host, Lady L, was very welcoming and keen to see us settled in. The pool at the back of the chateau, between the terrace and the host's vineyard was great for lounging around, and meeting the various friendly dogs and cats, who live with Lady L. The produce of the vineyard, Lady L's rosé, is also very good - it was served with our dinner and available to buy if you've got the room in your bags.

This lovely 17th century manor house sets in the middle of the vineyard. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by our host Lady L and her friendly dogs. Lady L made us feel right at home with the welcome tea and a tour of her house and surrounding vineyard.

The interior of the house is classic and chic with interesting collected objects on display that reminds me of a quaint vintage boutique. My room is on first floor and is very large with separate bathroom and toilet. The room offers view to both front courtyard and vineyard on the side. The bed is comfortable and the quietness of the surrounding allowed me to sleep very well.

In the morning our breakfast was served outdoor at the lovely courtyard with fresh fruits, yogurts, break basket and assortments of jams which tasted delicious! Over the years Lady L has adopted unwanted dogs and cats and they all roam happily in her lovely house and the vineyard.

Our memorable stay at this great place is one of the highlights of our Cote d' Azur trip and we will definitely return in future when we visit the south of France.

This B&B is a real find, a lovely 17th c. manor house set in the middle of a vineyard run by a charming and gracious owner who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Our room was comfortable and private. The afternoon of our arrival we had a glass of wine on the terrace with the owner and talked about the history of her home and the area.

We were greeted on arrival by a wonderfully friendly dog. Then the door opened, a dog came running and a lady said: "she is quite ferocious". In fact, this beautiful dog was at least as friendly as the other one. Then we met the Lady herself, and we felt at home.
The property is very nice, with an old pond. We went around (in the company of the dogs) and we sat under the beautiful trees. It was a bit chilly but we wanted to stay, it was so quiet and nice.
The house is full of decorative items and paintings.
The room is very comfortable, also very well decorated.
The two dinners were really exceptional. Everything was delicious, including the house wine, which is red, rosé and white at the same time.
So were the breakfasts, with fresh orange juice, strawberries, raspberries, fresh bread and croissants, cake and much more.
I forgot to mention the beautiful cats, who ended up on our knees as soon as we called them.
We stayed two nights and we would have like to stay more.
