There were 4 major problems with this hotel:
1. Despite going to reception on 3 occasions, the air conditioning could not be controlled in either of our rooms and was stuck at 25 degrees all night.
2. The bedrooms were infested with ants - crawling over the bed and the floor.
3. There was no hot water at all in the morning.
4. There is absolutely no customer service. I tried to complain and speak to the manager - he had asked not to be disturbed. The receptionist Paola sent someone to look at the ants and check the water (we were not the only people who complained that day). I stood waiting for some apology for 50 minutes, have subsequently had 2 phone conversations and been promised an email from the manager - nothing. We stayed in some lovely accommodation in Sicily - but this was the most expensive and the worst. Don't stay here if you want any customer service.

Stay away! Poor service and they have a big party by the pool with a very loud DJ. They sounded like they were in our room. When I complained at midnight they said I was young and should enjoy the music.
There are many other nice places to stay. I’d stay away from this one. Rooms are very tiny. Can’t get 2 suitcases opened at the same time.
Live and learn. Air conditioning does not work.

After reading all the positive views on TA about this property we couldn’t wait to stay here - however we were extremely disappointed. The hotel seemed like it was closed and had minimal facilities.

It’s a spa hotel but you have to pay €40 a day for the facilities, we asked the reception to see the spa before we parted with the money but was told ‘this isn’t possible’ we couldn’t understand what was included in the price as the website was in Italian and the staff couldn’t understand us. Or we could use for free was the pool, which isn’t heated.

Breakfast is average mostly cakes with a few slices of cheese ham and bread.

After breakfast there is no food throughout the day until dinner, so make sure you bring your own food with you. There is a basic minibar in your room that is quite expensive. There is no bar, only a restaurant so if you want a drink before or after your dinner you have to sit in the restaurant. You can get drinks in the day but you have to ask reception.

The rooms are basic certainly not 4*, the bathroom was a bit grubby. There is a lovely view from your balcony, absolutely beautiful but there are no tables and chairs so you can sit and admire the view.

There isn’t any atmosphere in the evening its either sit in the restaurant or on your bed.

The food in the restaurant was nice and the wine was good, however we had a dish that was translated into English as Veal, this turned out to be Octopus.
When the desert trolly arrived there was one portion of chocolate rolls left or a cake and that was it, not much choice at all.

I’m sure when the hotel is fully open it will be much better but if guests can’t use the full facilities then they shouldn’t just half open it. There were a lot of work men around doing bits and pieces to the resort.

You are a ten minute drive at least to the nearest town so you do rely on the hotel to have a few more facilities than this

A very disappointing experience.

This small resort is difficult to find, but worth. Nice admosphire, pool area, friendly people, good restaurant, nice room with a great view. Only the shower-cabin is verry small for normal build people. We had a nice balcony but no chairs on it. What is the purpose of the balcony?

Breathtaking views! In the hills, away from the buzz and beach, but a close drive to Trapani, Erice, San Vito Lo Capo ( a must!!!!) etc. Must have car, parking after hours a problem as restaurant patrons take over !!! Noisy as pool in middle of resort.Economy room is very tight ( no bedside table for example), but strangely has a full wheelchair friendly bathroom.
Waiters are brilliant but rest of staff have attitude and are non accomodating ( wouldn’t give us a chair to sit at our front door ?)
