Our first night here was way below average for even the sleaziest dumps, the room was clean upon check in and I was impressed. The issue was the shower after diner, I was in much need of washing away the heat of the day and I found that the shower did not drain properly until the morning. I showered at night not noticing the clogged drain until the morning; many drains are usually slow and that is what I figured was the issue here. But once I woke in the morning and attempted to shower in the morning to start my day, I was shocked to see the tub still full of a few inches of water. I called the front desk and they gladly switched my room for me, it was when I went to the lobby that I felt betrayed. I got the key to the new room and was told they would look into the plumbing issue the next day. While waiting for the exchange to take place, a lady and her young son were in the breakfast area, the boy was telling his mom he was hungry, mom was trying to tell him there was nothing to eat. I looked at the breakfast menu which was supposed to be included with the room stay, it was nothing more than an apple or two with some stale donuts. I asked the clerk if they were serving breakfast and his reply was, that there is the breakfast, fresh fruit, and donuts. Now I am not sure how many people were staying the night in this place, but I could not help but notice the meager amount of food out for the residents of the night. If two apples, a banana and a couple of cheese prepackaged danish is all that was offered! I'd expect a reduction in my rates! I myself am a meat eater and need meat! I do not care if your religion prevents you from eating meat, you should not force your belief upon your paying customers! I could make a gold pile if I went to the local store and bought some banquet frozen breakfast meals and sold then in the lobby for twice the cost! Hint hint: maybe your owner would consider doing just that! Go invest in some frozen breakfast meals and offer them to your customers in the morning, it would be far better than what you had offered. By the way, great job on getting me a new room just off the pool deck! The pool by the way was a great benefit and made up for the lack of continental breakfast items you claim you offered.
