Some of the staff here are exceptional, here are a few:
Zelda treated me like family the moment we met and ALWAYS ensured my requests were taken care of. She enthusiastically went our of her way to take care of me during my stay. Her level of performance is unmatched, anywhere that I have stayed to include luxury resorts.
Frances and Elizabeth managed the lounge in the morning and were always friendly and maintained the lounge.
Logan is an exceptional bar tender and made my stay more enjoyable.

It seems like, as a seasoned traveler, that the property is under a new manager recently and seeking to find what the "new expectations" are. If I am correct, the standards begin and end with the individuals mentioned above.
Areas to improve:
- Pool, often debris at the bottom of the pool, sand, leaves etc.
- Doors and general maintenance, fresh paint and attention to detail will brighten the property and give it a better image/impression.
- Training, some employees would answer, "I don;t know, I'm new." I would prefer, "I am not certain, let me confirm and get back to you." Perhaps my expectations are too high.
- During this time, hand sanitizers are recommended throughout the hotel, particularly near food serving stations.

This property is teetering on going from good to great, looking forward to returning to see what they decide to be...

I've stayed at this hotel 2x+/month for the past year for work. The facilities are nice (pool/lounge/fitness center) and the location is great - right by a major highway with easy access to the airport, medical center - not too far from anywhere. However, the staff at this place make it awesome - this is some of the best service I've received for business trips. Pedro and Angelica always do a great job taking care of us at the bar, and some of the front desk folks actively make an effort to remember my name when I'm checking in. Great facility for team business trips.

Good alternative if you don’t want to spend big dollars on a 4 stars but also don’t want to deal with the cheap 3 stars properties . Upgraded lobby and dinning area, good size pool, plenty of FREE parking.
Now the rooms, I will call it overall a COMPACT room, we had 2, FULL SIZE doble beds, (tight for 4 adults), but seems to be ok for families with 1-2 small kids.
Beds have seen their better days (at least our room), but ok for 1 night. Bathroom is compact, clean and fully stocked, only downsize is the sliding door, that, in my opinion results in lack of privacy.
I will stay again only if a good deal arrives.

Although the kids were bummed of not having an indoor pool. As this location only had an outdoor pool. The location meet the standards of a Marriott Hotel. We were pleased with the check in process and ease of use of the amenities. The location was good for direct freeway access in any direction.

I stayed 5 nights at the hotel last week for work. The reno is nice.... wood accents are great in the rooms. I appreciate the walk in shower. The bed looked low, and I was worried but it was very comfortable and I slept great.

I used the pool one afternoon and it was nice, not huge but certainly sufficient. One evening I sat in the bar and the bartenders were very personable. They, along with fellow business travelers really made for an enjoyable evening. The food is really good - tried a couple salads from room service and I love the cilantro vinaigrette!!

Staff were friendly and efficient at checking and check out.
