Firstly I must say I love icmeler but again was disappointed with this hotel.
Yes I picked it because it looked ok and some positive reviews.
It looked nothing like the pictures don’t be fooled, it’s very dated and desperately needs upgrading, was like being back in the 60s. Place was dirty and the lifts were a incubator for germs , people had actually written things in the grime. I reported it to the rep and he got someone to clean it but was worse after it was done.
Room was basic baring in mind it was a triple room which was very small, the bathroom was nice and looked like it was recently done but few things in there needed fixing, shower was good but run hot and cold randomly. Bedding wasn’t changed for 10 days and we know that because of marks we made during our stay, beds were made every day with clean towels daily, yes it was reported.
Now breakfast was what I can only describe as on a budget absolutely aweful, dining room was falling apart.
Bar food was actually ok and plenty of choices, they did a good breakfast too.
The pool staff were lovely and can’t fault them good lads but overworked.
This is my opinion and a truthful one about this hotel, I’m not fussy but expect a level of cleanliness, we won’t ever be using it again.

Hi all,

Last day here at Kapmar before we fly home tonight.
Although we did enjoy our stay here we would not come back to this hotel. The staff in the pool and snack area was fantastic. The cleaners are great as well and found the hotel very clean. Sanitizers everywhere and temperature check every time you get back into the hotel. Breakfast very basic as in some fruit, boiled eggs (scrambled on a Sunday) bread, ham, cheese, tea and coffee. But if you don't fancy that just have a full English in the snack area at the pool. Only about 3 pounds.
Same problem as almost everywhere else in people 'reserving' sunbeds from the early hours. Got very busy near the end of the holidays. Met a great bunch of people and a special shout out to Yunus at the poolside and restaurant.
Reasons for not returning are being hit with a 95 pound bill within 5 minutes of arriving after a very long day. Arrived at 1.30 in the morning and had to pay 95 pounds for 9 days safe+airco. There also is no fridge in the room with to us is a massive downside. We like to end the day with a nice cold drink on the balcony but that is not possible since you are not allowed to take food or drinks up which are not bought at the hotel. The WiFi is another let down. More often than not it is not working and when it is finally working it goes off and on like a jojo.
We really enjoyed the fantastic food everywhere and with a 35-40 C temperature there wer no complaints there either. All in all a great holiday.

As a solo traveller I highly recommend this hotel. It is in a central location, the rooms are done out to a good standard. The staff are friendly and dont hassle you. I ate at the pool bar a couple of times during the day and found the prices reasonable and the food was to a good standard

worst hotel we have ever stayed in, we arrived 11.30pm tired. A misserable receptionist who hardly spoke, did not even welcome us ..he looked at paperwork ,give us our keys and took our money, whilst all the time standing infront of sign on wall stating no refund given for anything . The aircon was £35 p/w , safe £25 p/w which i paid for for 2 weeks. £15 for late checkout as we were being picked up after 6pm with no dedicated safe room location to leave cases and bags untill your pickup. carpets were frayed and dangerous. fire extinguishers missing. lifts breakdown regular and takes staff 40 mins to get customers freed. duck swimming in pool which staff never did anything about.ramps for dissabled extremely steep and narrow. breakfast was a terrible minimal continental no fruit or yoghurt and dispensed from a coffee from machine with paper cups, bread had to be toasted 3 or 4 times to brown it . fire escape a narrow spiral staircase so no good for dissabled etc .only good things were the rooms which were cleaned daily and cleaners were chatty and friendly.1st and last stay ever. gave 1 star as i could not give less.

Yes there is a small one, but the whole pool area is being refurbished right now, but I'm sure they will keep the little pool as some elderly people also like to use it
