Quick, easy, friendly, check in. Had a problem getting into our assigned site so set up in the next site, left a message with front office that we changed sites and had no problems. We were in site 5015 which is on the last row of sites along the I 75 highway. We heard muted traffic noise outside but nothing inside camper. The site was spacious. Plenty of room for our 35 ft 5th wheel with 3 slides as well as crew cab pickup. Pool was clean and refreshing. We didn't use any other amenities. Our site was full hook up.
There are a lot of sketchy people in/out of the park at all hours. Our bike was stolen. Arrest was made for drug charges during our 10 week stay. We were asked to leave the dog park because our dogs were too playful for an older man’s older golden retriever who needed to do her”business”. Not kid-friendly at all. WIFI is horrible in the park. Plan on having that as an added expense through Spectrum or their CAMP LINK. Fought & fought with the front office about our child being kicked out of the LIBRARY where she was trying to do synchronized learning for school by the “regulars”who needed to play cards in the library instead of utilizing the main clubhouse room. Card players don’t want to be disturbed by the line dancers. So, we were told to pay for our own internet service at our site. That was an extra $100 per month. We stayed here for 10 weeks. Definitely loyal to their “regulars”. Women in the office have horrible attitudes. 2 of Encore’s core values are enthusiasm & empathy. Neither of which you will get from those awful women. Over priced & out dated common areas & amenities. Dump station broke. Fire hydrants red-tagged. Only park in the area that won’t pay to spray for no-seeums. Can’t enjoy your evenings outside because you’re getting bit the whole time. Advertise all their RV spots are paved. Nope. Paid for a premium spot. Our RV kept sinking in the graveled spot & the entire RV rocked most of the time because not on solid ground.
Park was clean amenities were nice we were close to the things that we were there for. The people in the park are friendly staff was friendly we stay at this park few times through the year to be close to family and friends that live in the area my wife also likes to shop some of the nice stores in the area. We will continue to stay in this park when we can get in winter time sometimes can be challenging because of the snowbirds. All in all I would recommend this park . One note if you’re out on the edges near the water you might need some bug spray as the Noseeum’s can be a strong nuisance. There’s a gym game room and hot tub pool Arquette One note if you’re out on the edges near the water you might need some bug spray as the Noseeum‘s can be a strong nuisance. There’s a gym, game room and hot tub,big pool Kept nice. The sites are large size as well not on top of each other. 5 ⭐️
Great place to be anytime but couldn't have been better while we spent the entire month of April +. We were there 5 weeks. They were very kind and understanding when we needed to stay due to all the other TT parks being closed. Very clean and in excellent condition. Roads were wide and smooth, no dust. We were on the west side, backed up to I-75 but got used to the sound soon after we got there. It's just a mile or so to Walmart, Home Depot, fuel and more. All utilities were good and wifi from Camplink was great. Very seldom were we not able to stream live news or Netflix/Amazon. OTA TV was "pretty good". On the last day we were there we had some trouble, but other than that we could watch local news as well as PBS and other favorites. Laundry room very clean and well serviced. Liked that you use a credit/debit card for each machine so you don't have to put money on a card and have it left over when you leave. Lots of full time residence, but were very cordial, waved when they passed. The rec center was beautiful....from the outside.... everything was closed so we weren't able to participate in any group events. We don't have "any thing" bad to say about Winter Quarters Manatee Encore RV Resort.
We first stayed here in 2014 and had a site on the water and that visit was good so in 2020, after retiring, we decided to go back and stay from Feb - April. We paid for a premium spot (not on the water but should have been nice) we were put behind someone who lived there year round and the view was so awful with their trash and many other items in their back yard that we had to pull our blinds so we didn’t have to look at it. We were told by our neighbors to keep our bikes inside because things had a way of coming up missing. We moved our bikes inside and out when ever we used them. So we stayed almost 3 months with our bikes in our living room. We went to the office two different times to see if we could be moved and the office staff was uncooperative, unfriendly, and they refused to move us. The first of April we had new neighbors move in beside us and we believed them to be homeless and fearing for our safety we left early. There were many other sites that would have suited them better, but we felt because we complained they placed them beside us. Not a good stay and we’ll never go back or recommend it to anyone.
