Our stay was comfortable, room and beds are good, breakfast is great. This is an older hotel, feels a bit cramped comparing to the newer ones, room needs renovation, no digital keys yet. About a quarter of rooms overlook the busy highway, but we checked in through the app and were able to pick the room with the window looking to inside area with the pool. We didn't hear any noise from the highway at night.
I have stayed in many Hilton properties.....that has made us diamonds. I will say, this is the finest one we have ever stayed in. I felt like I was home even in this covid(crisis). First of all the entire staff was so friendly! Gabriel and Gabriel run a tight ship of friendliness, cleanliness and comfort. All of the staff went above and beyond their jobs to help me with anything I needed. The pool was delightful and clean. The beds were so comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The GM even cleaned the pool and windows if he deemed it necessary. Amazing!
The happy hour and pool/hot tub puts this hotel at a much higher value comparable to Embassy Suites tier. Plus the location is right in the heart of the upscale area of El Paso. Also 2 minutes from airport and 5 minutes from bae.
Checked in online on the Hilton app and chose to upgrade my room for a reasonable fee, for a larger room. Ended up with a small apartment, with a separate bedroom and living room/kitchenette, that was really nice! Had a nice view of the pool and room was very quiet so got a great night sleep. Front desk check in was very nice and professional. The lobby was decorated nicely for the Christmas holidays. Breakfast, though pretty standard fare, was actually good, and restocking items was continuous. There is also a Starbucks on the corner, so it was easy to grab a latte and get back on I-10. Definitely will stay here again traveling through Texas.
I have traveled alot during my 25 year career and have stayed in several hotels over that time. I have stayed in what I would call as "some of the worse" and "some of the best" as far as quality that customers search for in a hotel. The Hampton Inn -El Paso Airport is by far the best in the business.
The hotel is well maintained and offers great amenities such as a spacious and clean rooms, shuttle service, free parking, a pool, easy access from the highway and my favorite, the manager's reception on Mon-Thurs evening. Whether you are there to just relax or returning from a long day of work, a good beer or glass of wine always seems to hit the spot; not to mention the food that is offered can save you the time and money instead of having to leave the hotel for dinner. However, the location of the hotel offers plenty of places to eat and shop. Of course, the airport is just down the road as well.
The staff is absolutely amazing. Not a request went unanswered, they were quick to make sure I had everything I needed to ensure my stay was pleasant and to my satisfaction. My stay here was a period of a few weeks, so the staff knew my name and I knew theirs. I learned more and more about each one of them and could not say a single negative thing about any of them. They are truly great at their jobs and know how to make a customer feel at home.
