Arrived at 1200AM and the doors were locked. Called the number provided on the door and was told to open a lock box and receive my key. Ok done, no elevator so carry my bags up three floors. Get to the room all I want to do after an international flight is sleep. Surprise, the rooftop bar across the street is having a party. Thank god for noise canceling headphones. So the long and short of it, its an old building. No elevator, no soundproofing, no service at night, lumpy bed was not solved by the foam mattress pad.
If you are a seasoned traveler and have come accustomed to amenities this is not the place for you. If your looking for an upscale crack den then this is the one.

For our three-weeks-stay we were looking for a reasonable hotel in the Quincy area. We have been around Boston and Quincy many times before. So we knew from our experience that hotels, hostels & motels are relatively expensive there. So, in the beginning we were more or less surprised to find such reasonable priced hotel option there. Pictures in the internet seemed nice. All rooms with bathrooms. So, there was nothing to be afraid of. ... When we arrived there, everything looked as advertised in the internet. Frontdesk was friendly to us. Which we couldn't see on the pictures was that the bathroom was rediculously small. It had a small tub, a sink and a toilet. But everything on one and a half square meters. We couldn't hardly stand in front of the sink although we are normal sized persons. During our first night we had to deal with the very loud refridgerator in our room ( which was also much too big for our micro- sized apartment ). It was difficult to get some sleep - even after a long and exhausting journey all the way from Bavaria / Germany. The next day we found out that the fridge was actually also broken. Although it made a hell lot of noise, it didn't work. Further it had a bad aroma, an annoyimg smell. So, here came our first complaint. After the hotel management didn't get this done after three days&nights, they offered us another room. So we moved into the micro- apartment just across the hallway. That was easy, but the problems didn't end here. During the first night in our new apartment, we learned that they have moved us to the street side. And yes, it was very loud - all day & night. Construction work even during night time ( which was of course not the hotels fault ). Good I had my ear plugs with me. Too bad it was even too loud with ear plugs. But not to forget to mention that the refridgerator was brand new now and we couldn't hear it at all - great progress! But there were some further issues with our new hotel room. The matress of the bed was either worn out or of a poor quality. My wifes and my back ached every morning. The first few days weren't that bad, but it got worse over the weeks.... One morning my wife discovered a drawer underneath the bed. As we did a lot of shopping, we were pleased to have found a place where to put everything. But there was already something in there: hair, dust.... After the hotel didn't have this cleaned although we complained about it, we cleaned it ourselves. One day the TV didn't work and the same day they had it fixed. Another day the hairdryer didn't work. This was also fixed on the day of the the complaint. The room service wasn't always done, sometimes only a part of it was done. The floor was very filthy and probably was never cleaned during our stay. Towells had been missing many days of our stay. Of course we always got some when we asked. But looking at all these issues we became tired of asking and asking.
It was not a exactly a nightmare, but even with low expectations you'd be disappointed. So, we survived there, but unfortunately it wasn't a pleasure. Anyway to say something positive, the personel at the frontdesk was mostly very friendly. They were helpful, but not always. ...Our suggestion to the Hotel Management would be to use a simple checklist for their quality management and start controlling in order to avoid all these issues which could be so easy if it would be checked. Although we have listed many negative facts, we wish the hotel team the very best and we hope they will get the improvements.... Hey, and who knows...maybe in twentyfive years or so we might give it another try ;-)

we have stayed in Nova Suites for 2 nights. Very convenient hotel, minutes from public transportation. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our room are clean and had small kitchen. There is also a small grocery store next door, which makes it very convenient if you want to cook in the room.

Nova Suites is a great hotel with clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were checking-in late in the evening, and I was tired and grumpy. But the front-desk attendant was so kind and respectful, that made our late check-in easy and pleasant.
The location is just perfect: close to the station, to the airport, and there are a lot of nice restaurants nearby.
I would highly recommend this hotel!
