I really wanted to enjoy Oceanview, but there was just so much taking away from the experience. Our main issue was the AC in our room, which was beyond freezing. We asked the hotel how we could fix it and found out we couldn't, because the temperature was set for the entire hotel and there was nothing they could do about it. After we complained again, they "fixed" it by placing a cardboard in front of the AC, which obviously didn't solve much and made it look just so ridiculous. Another issue we had was that in two days of our stay we didn't get housekeeping. They simply didn't show up, including one day that we left at 9am and returned at 6pm. The hotel location is ok - it's close to Guam's main street but it's a quite steep climb. The pool is really simply and definitely not as nice as the pictures make it look like. On the bright side, the room was quite spacious and clean (that is, when housekeeping showed up). A lot of parking space also helped.
Large but basic room in the annex part of the Hotel. Very quiet room (after we pulled the plug on the fridge) but drab furnishings. Public areas also basic with little comfort. Situated on a hill away from the beach but did have an adequate swimming pool. On-site restaurant was ok but nothing special. Good for a night or two but wouldn't recommend from a holiday.
We were booked on the third floor for 4 nights and it worked out fine. We booked the 2 bedroom suit - in it we had 2 full baths , a full living room with a balcony (balcony great to dry dive gear or swimming gear) overlooking the pool and the beach (living room can possibly sleep 2 heads) , a fully functioning kitchen (utensils , plates , glasses , rice cooker, coffee brewer, microwave, cooktop and oven with hood, full Ref, etc), a dining area that seats 6 with a bar with 2 bar stools. The place and furnitures are dated , but the place is clean and everything is functioning . If you have a big family , or a big group of friends (up to 6 or 8 heads ) , and on a budget , this suite configuration will work perfectly for you . Within walking distance to a lot of restaurants , and a short drive from the airport and malls .
Has LCD and cable Tv, in room safe, free WIFI which was weak in the bedroom but strongest in the living room , Centralized AC, pool , small convenience shop downstairs , free parking .
Service was as expected, and response time quick . Check in is at 3pm . Requested an early check in as we arrived at 11 am, but sadly they were fully booked and we could not be accommodated . But it worked out well , as we just endorsed our Luggages , had lunch and did a bit of shopping before returning at 3. Staff were all friendly and accommodating
More like an apartment complex rather than a hotel, as it is a residences property . Bed turn over and room cleaning, plus towels replacement about every 2 days
Attached pictures for references. Simple and clean , comfortable . If I had a big group going to Guam , this is the place to go .
Nothing really stands out as good or bad. It's a perfectly reasonable hotel. Maybe a bit difficult to find at first (we got confused with the other hotel's parking), but it's ok. It seems to be a bit old but still ok. Not much of a view from the room, but the room was large. Free ice available in the floors. Pool was nice, but nothing to write home about. There is some sort of spa which we tried, not luxurious but got the job done.
Overall it's good enough if you don't really plan to stay much at your hotel.
Loved staying here at the penthouse. 4 separate rooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining table, kitchen, and also has a washing machine and dryer. It has a pool and also a souvenir shop. Down the road is another souvenir shop and just walking distance to DFS and Ajiichiban Ramen Place.
