Being on the road often allows you to appreciate the small things that hotels do to go above and beyond. With my first work related trip to Hawaii, I had the pleasure to stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Kapolei/Oahu. This hotel is seemingly brand new, with fantastic rooms, and is in immaculate shape/cleanliness. More importantly, I have found that the staff here is FANTASTIC. There is a young woman who works the front desk by the name of Jara. Of all of the folks that I have encountered as a HiltonHonors member, over the course of the past twenty years... Jara ranks in the top 1%. Kind, cordial, genuine, and extremely welcoming; she makes guests feel absolutely at home here. Jara has made this 23 night stay an absolute joy to take part of. For those in management at Hilton/Hampton Inn, I would strongly encourage you to groom her for upper level management, and positions of increased responsibility and scope. She represents this organization as a top notch professional. One final note, the staff in the breakfast area can also be counted on to go above and beyond for their customers. If you are staying in Kapolei, stay here. You will have no regrets.
room was great but the price was a bit high. the location was perfect with the mall being next door. he area was clean and well lit. again the only thing is price, especially if you are just staying for one night.
This was definitely the best Hampton Inn I've stayed at. Not only was the location convenient (adjacent to shopping mall & lots of food options), but the cleanliness was great! And the complimentary breakfast was a huge plus - for our family of 4! I will definitely be staying here again for our next trip to Kapolei.
I'm very happy that I chose this Hotel over all the other choices I had. The room was so spacious and comfortable that I what my home to have the same features. Loved all the modern features. The location was on the same property as the mall so we had our choice of restaurant to eat just by walking to our choice. The front desk and housekeepers were the most friendly folks I've encountered. Every time we left and came back we were greeted with big smiles and Aloha's. I personally feel that this was the best deal you could have on Oahu.
Hotel and parking was part of outside mall. While hotel looked very modern, carpet in room seemed to be a bit older. Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and modern ac thermostat. Hallways seemed way too bright (like a insane asylum).
Breakfast was good and a nice variety. Even rooms faced outside parking lot, odd faced rear which was the quiet side. Rooms ending 04 were next to a bar with crazy people roaming the parking lot.
Lots of military use this hotel. Very nice and accommodating front desk.
