I came here per a friends recommendation, and was not disappointed. I planned to stay 1-3 nights and stayed 6 because it was so peaceful and relaxing;) I came with two friends and we had the place all to ourselves as it was edging on low season and barely anyone was there. I paid 400 bhat a night for a private room and connected bath, (which is super cheap if u can split if you're staying two in the room). The bungalows are basic rooms with comfy mattress, (the comforter a bit heavy for the heat though) mosquito net and fan and the quirky bright paint colors make it fun. My friends had the room next to me and we could each chill on our stoops (small balcony) and enjoy the peace and quiet you won't find 10 mins away at popular lonely beach area. We loved being able to go to the restaurants and bars in lonely beach but come home to quiet without annoying music blasting all night. We drive scooters and I must say this was helpful because you'll want to get around this way. Basically you need one everywhere in Koh Chang because it's so huge and getting around can add up $$ if you're paying one cab at a time. If you don't drive a scooter and want to walk everywhere this isn't the spot. (However, there are a few restaurants on the main road a few minutes walk away- and on site restaurant if you don't want to leave.). But if you want beautiful views, peace and quiet with a place to rest and recharge for a fantastic deal, this is the place. The owner is very nice and helped with booking bus and next travel too.

Both was nice! And price was also ok if u go with ur friend.
I stayed here a week!
Before i came here, i stayed in a dorm which is close to lonely beach but it was so noisy untill night, so i moved to here, and i really satisfied wih this Bailan Hut Resort!
Owner is really kind and really friendly !
And location is also good!
If u can drive motobicycle, Here is also close to lonely beach, but quiet and peaceful. And also not really far from Bangbao Port.
I think Bailan hut location is very good!
And the restaurant in this hotel is also nice.
You can see sunset in this Resort.
Staying here was unforgettable memory to me!
If i go Koh Chang again, I'll stay here again !

We paid $A27 per night on agoda. Our expectations were not high for that rate. The huts are on a bay with lovely views, no beach and unfortunately the huts are in poor condition. We were upgraded to a waterfront hut because our hut's bathroom flooded. On our second night there, in our upgraded hut, the toilet backed up and our poo sat in the toilet bowl because we were worried about flushing as the bowl did not drain the matter away. It overflowed! We know not to put anything else down the toilet but prior guests maybe have left the sewerage system in a very bad state. Whoever rated this place 5 stars must have stayed elsewhere or been related to the Korean owner, who appeared to be a nice person. The huts should be priced at 500bt a night for aircond and 250 bt for fan huts. Prices are ridiculously high for the quality of the rooms. We stay in Bangkok by the river in an aircond room with river view for 500bt. We stay on Koh Samui with far better quality huts for less than what this place costs. The owner needs a reality check and we would not recommend this place unless your needs are minimal and you do not mind sewerage which does not flush! Beds were comfy!

Not sandbeach but more better good beach, you can snorkeling & kayak.

The resort close the sea. Can see the sun in the morning and evening. But the room isn't cleaned if you stay more than 2 nights. A restroom isn't OK because can't lock the door. The staff can't recommend about Koh Chang so you should know popular place by yourself before you go there.
