My two daughters and I booked this motel to rest overnight and get back home. When I pulled up it was very sketchy. My mind said turn around but we needed rest we had already been driving over 20 hours. Anyway to make a longgggg story short. Checked in any way paying a overpriced 91.00. The guy was friendly but also made a statement about the seedy oriole using the washer and dryer. Go to our room and as soon as we opened the door it reeked of cigarette smoke. The two double beds had hairs on the sheets if both beds. My 14 yr old daughter wanted to take a shower and said the shower was disgusting. There was hairs every were dirt, mold in the corners of the shower. So just said we will stay a few hours to rest. We laid our own person blanket on top of bed but the bed sank in the middle like a elephant had been laying in it. We checked in st 1:30am and left before 3am. I didn’t want another room I just wanted to get the hell out if there. Please don’t stay here with a family or solo not safe and dirty rooms.
Our nonsmoking room reeked of smoke so bad it was hard to breath in there. I asked for new towels and the front desk lady said it was to hot for her to bring them to me. At 2 in the morning the people next door to us were throwing a party and we’re yelling right outside our door. The pool looks like it’s full of slime. It looks disgusting. There’s a gap from the outside to the ac, literally anything can crawl into your room. Worst experience ever! Pay way to much for the price.
There's good news and bad news about the hotel's location. Good news: it's easily accessible. Bad news: it's in an industrial area complete with trains and trucks. But if you don't mind a little of that, it's an excellent place to stay. My room was tiny but very well appointed, including a 60-in flat screen TV, mini-fridge, microwave, full-size tub and excellent WiFi (I was on the ground floor). The room was immaculate, the grounds well kept and extremely well lit at night. Location notwithstanding, I felt safe there. Next time I'm passing through, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
I stayed here for one night, arriving at 8PM and leaving at 6AM; so I was in and out. The person at the front desk was cheerful and funny (sarcastically saying, "you're staying here for such a long time!"). He gave me a room that was a little hard to find in the building, so I kinda wish he had given me better instructions. The room was a bit dark and small; and the WiFi intermittently disconnected on my phone, which was a little annoying. But it was cheap, and it's not a bad deal if you need someplace to go in and out, like I did.
Nice. I liked the updated look of the room. It was clean and kind of modern looking. The front desk clerk was super friendly. Not bad for the price, especially around there. The pool lights were pretty, a nice little touch.
