Well, as most of you may figure from my posts...I frequent Nacogdoches, TX a lot as I have family here. My "spot" has always been Super8. It is dear to my heart! What an excellent hotel. However...I never knew what I was missing everytime I passed Econo Lodge.
My parents booked us rooms here, as Super8 was full because of the Blueberry festival. Only rooms left were at Econo Lodge. I felt slightly disappointed as I wouldn't be able to stay at Super8.
But I'm soooooo glad I landed here. Yall...these rooms smell AMAZINGGG. They look AMAZINGGGG. The sleep quality was AMAZINGGGG. The decor is LOVELYY. No carpet! Tiled flooring! The shower and bathroom area has been renovated. This is the most modern Econo Lodge I've ever experienced. The A/C will run you out of your room as they get just that cold! This is a major plus in the Texas heat!
The management is AMAZINGGG! Cordial, sweet and they take pride in their establishment as you feel it when you walk in the room.
The price for all of these things is AMAZING! The next time you think about passing up this place, please DON'T! You are missing a treat.
This will be my new "spot". It's convenient...I'm not in traffic when I pull out of the lot. And I park in front of my room and go straight in. Definitely my new "spot"!!

Required ground floor room and shower bench as special requests. Staff very helpful and pleasant in fulfilling our needs upon checking with them by phone on morning of our day of arrival. Room was very clean and had "hardwood" floor throughout. Room #115 had only one noticeable deficiency...no hand towel rack next to the lavatory sink where there was adequate room for one. Otherwise, the room design and layout was very good.

Stopped for the evening and happened upon this place. New remodeled but some things still need work. Got a King room and the room was large. The bed was not as comfortable as I would have expected. Staff was very friendly .

I read all the reviews on the Choice Properties site and this property was rated very high so my husband and I decided to give it a try on our route to our final destination. We were not disappointed. The room was large and very clean. You could tell it has been updated. Although there were parts that have not been - like the trim work. But for me cleanliness and hot water are the most important. The price was great and that works for us.
