I mean the pictures say it all. They only put a loose sheet over it and the blood was so fresh it started staining the sheet my husband was laying on. And the best part is instead of refuning my money. They tried moving us to a different room. Were furiously disgusted.
Had a great two night visit here. Room was comfortable and relatively noise free. Book thru hotel's website for lower rates. Had a slight problem with adding second night to stay. Websites said there were only smoking rooms available. Found a non-smoking one on their own website.
Due to some unfortunate circumstances while traveling for work, we had to find the nearest place to stay for the night while our vehicle was being repaired, and as this was right next to the Denny's we were at, we chose this hotel.
Now, I've stayed in alot of hotels, and this was by far the WORST hotel that I have ever stayed in. The front desk staff was fairly nice, though not very talkative. We got into the room and it smelled like someone had been smoking in there and you could hear EVERYTHING that was going on outside of the room, in the parking lot, and in the hallway of rooms next to us.
In addition, iour sink was VERY clogged, and there were all kinds of marks on the walls and in the bathroom like someone had beaten them with a bat. All of this I could deal with, whatever, it wasn't the worst room I had stayed in at that point.
What got me was that when I went to use the bathroom, I closed the door and on the back of the bathroom door was what appeared to be a small amount of blood smeared in the middle and on the door handle. It was literally the strangest, most disturbing thing I had seen in my life.
Furthermore, outside of our room in the middle of the night, there was all kinds of yelling and screaming occurring outside of our room, not sure if it was a domestic dispute of some kind or what, but it had kept us up for quite a while.
Only positive experience at this hotel was that there were no bugs that I could see, the staff was okay, and the TV and cable worked just fine. The bed was also okay. The wifi worked, but was VERY slow. There is a Denny's located practically in the parking lot, and also an Olive Garden a short walk away.
I booked this hotel for two nights and I decided to leave this place after the first night of stay. The room was dirty. There was a smell in the room. The carpet was very disgusting. It felt wet and had many disgusting stains that looked like dried sperm... My feet got itchy after touching it. The towels were dirty and discussing. I didn't really know what they were made of, but definitely not cotton. They were tough on skins and smelled weird. The soup and shampoo they provided were of very low quality. The tub was dirty. The bed was disgusting too! It seemed like they never washed the comforter. It smelled and felt really dirty when I touched it. I just couldn't let my skin touch it, it was too nasty.
These were not the worst. When I woke up in the middle of the night, I saw cockroaches! Yes, cockroaches! Some were in the bethroom and some were walking on the wall of the room! This was a sleeping room, not a kitchen! How the heck could there be cockroaches?!
The front desk staffs were ok. They were not super friendly but not rude either. They provided free wifi. The speed was slow but it was still usable. They have free breakfast too. I didn't eat breakfast there so I'm not sure about its quality.
Don't ever ever stay at this hotel. We are new to Houston and this hotel was cheap. The first night we stayed we had nasty matresses, ants and some other type bugs in out room. We said something to hotel manager he moved us to another room. This room was much better. Then they lost our payment and then said we were trespassing because they lost our payment. The police was called on us and we were put out. And the pool was filthy and I mean FILTHY. THE STAFF WAS NOT HELPFUL.
