Me and my friends decided to stay at this beautiful hotel back in Oct 2020 for a weekend staycation. I made the reservation through Fine hotels & resorts for Amex platinum. The premises were clean and impeccable, with lovely service at the front desk, the pool and the bar. A shout-out to Yuri at the pool for always bring our drinks with a smile. We enjoyed the bar and the cool interactive golf rooms at the back of the bar. We only had a small mishap with room service with timings but the recovery service was well done, thoughtful and much appreciated.
I would definitively stay there again and would recommend the hotel if you are staying in downtown. We had a lovely time and the hotel is great!
This Four Seasons has gone all out on maximizing your experience while at the same time providing the highest level of safety. Friendly, efficient staff. Great bar and dining experience at Bayou and Bottle, and for afternoon drinks there’s always the best pool scene in downtown Houston IMO. Highly recommended!
Booked Four Seasons @ approx $400/nite ‘pool view’ room for anniversary trip. Granted, this is the time of COVID-19, but I never could have imagined how lousy service and food could be. First the pool view was nothing more than a roof view (pic attached). The check-in fellow assured us this room was in the newly remodeled section. He also tells us to enjoy the pool since the pool bar and cafe are open. We head to the pool, and the first thing I notice is how worn and dirty the pool area is. We are the only people there. We decide to order a couple of drinks - $25 plastic cup of Moët Champagne and a $9 can of corona beer, except there is no wait staff to be found. No phone to call for one. So back to the room we trudge to order two poolside drinks. The waiter appears and apologizes that he is in a training class. I applaud 4 seasons for training their staff, but not when I’m paying this kind of rate. The drinks arrive, and the champagne is seriously flat. But the young man is back to training. We ordered popcorn and a couple of room service cokes to watch a movie - the popcorn and cokes show up- no ice or glasses. There seemed to be construction going on somewhere upstairs with random tapping until 2:30am. 7:00am room service breakfasts (2 American breakfasts with 2 coffees $50 without service) arrive at 7:15, no call and no toast. The Waffle House does a better job at better prices and service. So...I’ve had great experiences at the old Olympic Four Seasons in Seattle, the George V, Four Seasons Maui, Dallas and Atlanta, but Houston is nowhere in that class, sadly. Next time we’ll stay at the Post Oak or a Hilton. It has to be better than this.
We really enjoyed our stay at Four Seasons Houston. Our room and bathroom were attractive and very comfortable, although not as elaborate as other Four Seasons we've stayed at. A lot of Covid-prevention measures were taken, such as temperature check upon entry, and room service food being delivered in disposable containers, but regardless, service was as attentive and caring as you'd expect from a Four Seasons. My son and I had a great time at the pool. Again, nothing elaborate (it is on a roof in downtown Houston, after all), but it was attractively designed, well maintained and spacious, as was the attached hot tub.
From now on this will be our go-to hotel whenever we are spending the night in Houston.
Supremely impressive. A hotel-room connoisseur for whom a nice room is worth half the vacation, I have fairly high expectations when it comes to hotels, and this hotel exceeded them all. To start, safety and cleanliness standards were followed impeccably. My partner and I felt very safe staying there in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Although most amenities were closed, the pool, pool bar, and room service continued operation, which made our stay very enjoyable. The food was delicious. The absolute best thing, however, was the app. It is a high-quality product, through which you can personalize your stay, like mattress firmness and pillows, order towels and other items to the room, and order food. You can also chat the concierge who will respond promptly and politely to any request. I am thoroughly impressed by the service and the commitment to quality guest experience at this hotel.
