Outstanding overnight stay at The Joseph. Met a friend for a night and we never left the hotel since we decided not to brave the Covid crowd. Lovely lunch and quiet conversation at rooftop bar. Amazing massage by Bryce who really knows what he is doing. Yolan is absolutely amazing. The enthusiastic and knowledgeable servers were incredible. We enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings and it was delicious. The sommelier presented the wine parings in such an enthusiastic manner and welcomed questions. I booked a nice corner suite and it was very well appointed. Only minor (very minor) complaint was there are really not enough outlet plugs. In this day and age when we all have so many items to charge this could be improved. Overall, I would highly recommend and will be back! Rooms had extra hand sanitizer and wipes, and plenty of sanitizer throughout the hotel. Once again compliments to the entire well trained staff.

The Joseph is fantastic and I enjoyed getting to be among the first people to experience their amenities, hospitality, and impeccable service. The food and beverages were outstanding, as were the views from the rooftop. I would like to recognize Drake at the front desk, Jasper at Denim, and Nathan in AV for providing excellent customer service during the stay. I also want to say "thank you" to housekeeping for the attention to detail in the room and compliment their work in making everything so comfortable and inviting. No doubt opening a new hotel during the pandemic has created challenges, but The Joseph has risen to the occasion and has made it look easy. I look forward to returning again soon.

I stayed the Joseph over the weekend and I wouldn't be happier to have stayed anywhere else. I planned a proposal at Denim, their lovely restaurant on the 21st floor.  Everything was nothing short of amazing. From the time of booking and planning the staff was extremely accommodating, not only with me but with  my photography crew as well.  I want to give special recognition to Elaine and Justin at the front desk; they both were extremely helpful though the whole process and seem really thrilled and eager to  help. Also will like to thank Chelsea with banquets with everything she did to help make my evening special for my fiancé and I.  She was incredible, with making sure my special dinner request was met, she went above my expectations with decorating the cabana I reserved to make the evening a bit more special.  The food was phenomenal, my fiancé is a very picky eater, which is why I had to request a special dish ahead, which he mentioned was the best chicken parmesan he ever had, even down to the non-alcoholic beverages. I would also like to send a special thank you to the wait staff at Denim for their assistance. I can't remember the waitress name but she was amazingly attentive. The icing on the cake was returning to the room to find a complementary dessert congratulating us on our engagement, I will recommend Joseph a million times over.  I believe we don't have to search for a place for our engagement party. Thanks again to the entire staff.

As a new hotel it was disappointing to find out the heat was not working in a suite nor were the elevators working. I recommend visitors stay at the JW downtown instead. A clear lack of regard and attention to detail.

Thank you for providing us with the feedback. While the elevators went down and were back momentarily, I believe our Director of Rooms did offer our service elevator and then escorted guest back to the suite using the stairs. Air conditioning issue was isolated to that suite and I hope the move to a corner suite did bring relief. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience these opportunities created in your experience. We stayed at the Joseph over the weekend and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. To be called a “luxury collection” hotel is an understatement. From the valets who greet you and make you feel like royalty (Laud, Adam and Brett), to the front desk who make you feel at home (Justin) it was the perfect stay. We were greeted in our room with a wonderful bottle of champagne and a note from the valet manager...over the top wonderful! The suite we were given was luxurious and with a beautiful view of the city and KVB Bridge. Just magnificent. Thank you so much Joseph for the wonderful weekend!
