This is absolutely the worst hotel I’ve stayed at, and I’ve stayed at many. The owner/manager is extremely rude and the service is sub-par. The rooms are dirty, especially the bathrooms. The ceiling fan above the bed is thick with ick, and hasn’t been dusted in months, apparently. The bathtub has thick soap scum and a black ring, not to mention that the bottom of the tub has a large hole, which has a patch over it to seal it. I had to straddle the hole or I’d fall through. The phone, hand dryer, and microwave are all dirty and I refused to use them. I had to send back towels because they had stains on them and I can’t tell if they’ve been washed. The housekeepers are nice but don’t speak a word of English, so I had a difficult time getting the items I needed, such as coffee and soap/shampoo. When I ran out of coffee in the room (I only had decaf which I won’t drink) I went to the front desk to get some regular coffee packets. Again the manager was extremely rude and told me to “be patient, housekeeping will be by. They are busy”. I explained that they had already been by and had not provided me with any coffee (due to a language barrier). He handed me a coffee packed THAT WAS DECAF AND HAD ALREADY BEEN OPENED!!!! I ate breakfast that was served from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. At 9:15 am they had no coffee, and I asked for more. The rude man from the front desk told me that breakfast was over, even though it was only 9:15 am. He refused to make more. Other hotel guests had a screaming match outside my window that went on for 20 minutes. When I notified the front desk, he told me to “ just relax” and he would take care of it. He never went out to check on things, and after another 10 minutes of the screaming, I told him that I would call the cops if he didn’t. He very rudely told me to “go back to my room”. I called the cops anyway. Because I booked my room through an internet booking site (Expedia), I was told that nothing could be done to remedy any of the issues because the discount was too much and he (the rude manager) couldn’t (wouldn’t) accommodate. He said that if I had booked through the hotel directly, I would have been in a much better room and he could “fix things”. The rate for the room was DOUBLE what I booked it for on Expedia, and it still wasn’t cheap. I will NEVER stay here again, and I advise everyone to steer clear of this place.
