I booked a weekend and days before my arrival the owner was kind enough to help me arrange a few things in order for my arrival to be less stressful. My girlfriend and I arrived friday afternoon, and there was Veronica welcoming us, it was love at first sight, the small gardens, the pool, and our room was beautiful.
There are so many great things about this place, it´s environmental friendly, the fact that is only "adults" makes a great difference, the place is so quiet, it´s very easy to relax and enjoy everything, the hammocks, the pool, or even the small terrace that´s outside every room. The staff is helpful and very kind. At night the set a beautiful table for us with view to the lake, it was a nice gesture from them. From breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner everything was perfect.
From start to the end my girlfriend and I felt like we were at home, I was surprised about how friendly they were to the LGBTQI community.
I can´t thank enough to Veronica (the owner) and her staff for all their care, I want to thank you for making our stay an unforgettable weekend.
We´ll be back for more.
If all rooms are available, you won't be able to decide which one you want.
Owners treat you like a long, lost friend.
You have your pick of where you want to: drink coffee, have drinks, eat breakfast.
Many nooks and crannies to get good ideas from for you own home!
The view is splendid, and the lake's colors change depending on the light and season.
You cam enjoy the lakeshore private club through a pass the owners will give you.
And, each room is stocked with great reading material (books, ok?) and a fireplace.
This tiny hotel is run by Verónica. A lovely lady which is always trying to bring something more to your experience. We loved our stay. If you're looking for a place to rest, search no more. Being so small (5 suites) you can expect to be alone most of the time. Either by the pool or enjoying a massage with one of the best hands we've had, you can forget about your troubles for a while.
Fabulously romantic.
Mosquito warning after dark.
We just stayed there this weekend and we had a very pleasant time. The food was great and we were able to rest throughout our stay.
I highly recommend this place, also if you take your car you can ask for the suite that has its own parking space, with direct access to your room.
It was our first stay in La Casa de Guamuchil. We stayed for 2 nights and practically 3 days 'cause you can enter at 11AM and leave at 6PM. This is a family business and it has that cosy atmosphere. La Casa is small, beautiful hotel on the hill overlooking Tequesquitengo lake. It has 5 suites, very nice equipped and clean. The view is perfect. The hosts are the nicest people around, very friendly and helpful, the staff also. The food made by Veronica is great. If you are looking for a relaxing experience and a calm place to ease your hard-working self, La Casa is the place to stay. Highly recommended!
