Don't let the outside appearance deter you.....we were so pleased with everything about this place. The front desk girl was very efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was completely renovated and well appointed, nice tv, nice view of sunset and comfortable bed. Plenty of space to make your time in the room comfortable as well.
I'm quirky and love fresh air when I'm sleeping and was thrilled to find the windows open and we had a wonderful ocean breeze all night.

This place is spotless too! I thought I'd be edgy staying in a hotel during covid but didn't at all. Felt completely at ease.

Very close to all restaurants in town and to the Acadian Village which is only 10 minutes down the road. Oh, and if you like cheese curds, you have to stop at the fromagerie....excellent curds at an excellent price.

Enjoy your stay!

You couldn't find a better location on the 'Baie des Chaleurs'. A pretty little town in Northern New Brunswick and a very well located 'Motel' Auberge facility. The town is very quiet in October and the property was completing some serious renovations which will greatly modernize the 'Auberge'. The staff was nice, our room was quite large and on the ocean, though hard to see. The bathroom was vintage, early '70s and time to renew, which was being done. So, I would think that the spruce-up that is going on will greatly enhance to appeal of this property for next summer's tourist (2020) season

We opted to stay two nights here and were greeted with enthusiasm courtesy and exceptional advice on local restaurants and things to do. This hotel is a 10 minute drive from the Acadian Village and an hour drive from Bathurst. The seafood is exceptional, the room large and clean and the view of the bay delightful.

We stopped here by chance asking for a room with seaview. I could see the room before taking it. It was well furnished with a clean good bathroom and one window out to the sea. The staff was very friendly and tried its best speaking english. We had a very nice conversation and got very good informations about the restaurants in town. There is great access to the sea. Very quiet because it's not too close to the main road.

When we pulled up, we were the only car on the lot! Needless to say we were a bit concerned about what the place was like. But they gave us a very nice room that had been recently renovated. It is by the water, but the weather was cool and we didn't take advantage of the chairs on the lawn to enjoy the scenery. We found a restaurant close by - also a bar close by - that was on the water, near a pier. The service and food were excellent. We had breakfast in the morning in the dining room and it was very good. We would not hesitate to recommend this place.

We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel. We work hard to try to please our guests. As for not many cars on the lot, being in a small town, days can be very busy and sometimes rather quiet, especially during the shoulder season. Thank you for staying with us. André
